    I was just thinking it might be cool if (with the help of some of our wonderful artists) we produced the occasional amusing comic strip through the daily. Something to make people grin whilst they're searching through our content.

    I figure we'd go with Pokemon ones of course.
     
    I like the idea of this. Plus, if Daily artists are looking for something to do - as seen from time to time - this may be able to fill the void until the next work. Doesn't even need to be expansive; can be one panel comics if need be.

    I had had the idea to do some of these myself, months back. I think the major problem I had was that I wasn't sure of the format to use (serial? one-off strips? on their own or used to accentuate articles? stuff like that), and I wasn't sure if I could reliably come up with ideas to fill said strips. I think it just ended up escaping my mind soon after.

    I still think it would be a neat idea.
     
    I think it's a good idea, and I don't feel it's terribly important to be consistent with how many panels they have, etc. Let anyone submit their (own) comics anytime as well

    Things to work out from the top of my head:
    - one comic per article? collection of them every so often? (Probably depends on how many submissions we get)
    - article series name? Can be pretty simple like... well, Comic Strips, haha.

    i like the idea. if this was a thing and if my laptop was working i'd make and submit them, even through i'm not the greatest artist.
