I'm more into the intimidating or majestic looking starters - which is why my favorite two starters of all time are Typhlosion and Empoleon.
I mean, a Mon that burns everything it touches to a crisp when it's angry and a god damn emperor penguin?!
What's not to love?

Typhlosion and Empoleon are both pretty badass. I agree c: Almost always used Cyndaquil in Johto<3

Hi Kendy! Lapras is a really cool water Pokemon, I recall many runs of Red where they served as my swimmer.

Lapras is one of those Pokemon and I always say, I'll catch or use it next time...yet, here I am 15 years later and I have yet to use it. I have nothing against it, I just keep finding other Pokemon I wanna use more lol

I'm still waiting on a Poison/Fire combination. I think that'd be a helluva of Pokemon, even if it does have decent amount of weaknesses its amount resistances would easily balance that.

I completely understand, but Ice Beam is devistating vs. e4 and it's such a tank, it seems to make its way into my team often!

Absolutely, I believe it was actually a part of my team on my first ever playthrough of a pokemon game, red too, so many years ago now! But still remember things from it.

Mudkip is a pretty cool Pokemon, I remember that I used it when I played Emerald for the first time, Swampert was really usefull through the whole game! Is 3rd gen your favorite generation, by the way?

I actually really like this design and would instantly become one of my favorites if Weezing got a mega and became Fire/Poison

Wow! That's amazing! You definitely didn't disappoint, I think I might have to get into the new games if they ever make it.

Oh man...that is pretty hard to decide. I really like Sceptile (was my first mega), Aerodactyl (use it in competitive a lot), Lopunny (one of my favorite Pokemon ever) but my favorite mega would have to be Lucario, I just have such a soft spot for it and it was the sole reason I was able to beat Pokemon X the first time. Never again will I load up my team full of Fighting and Dragon types again XD

Haha, this is an amazing list, I love the fact you have different reasons for each! And have to admit that I've also had a softspot for Lucario for a while, it seriously looks the part, and like you said, can definitely hold it's own in game!

Have you played with Mega Metagross much? I've never had one, but he was always a welcomed part of the team on my gen 3 games! I think I would probably say he's the one I'm most looking forward to using :)
