No, it was a virus definition update. 39 MB big. It took me 2 1/2 hours to do it.

2 and a half hours? That's fast compared to all of the dial-up providers I've ever used! That would have taken at least 4 hours on the ones I've used (and a lot of dial-up providers like to disconnect you after being on for 4 hours...no matter how active your connection is).

I remember when I had dial-up. It was such a pain! I had the ones that after 4 hours they will kick you out. You had sign in again. Omg, such a pain. Especially if you downloading something or chatting with someone on MSN or AIM. You get kicked out there goes the conversation and the download. x.x

I am glad I got cable. Had for three years now. I am thinking about getting something faster. There are faster ones to get now. I will see though.

wow, talk about dial-up, I had that so long ago. now I can't even have it. I have no computers with modems in them anymore.

Dial up.. Wow, I haven't had that for such a long time. Well a year to be exact. Since my parents weren't into technology and stuff, so I was given the cheapest internet connection I could get, so I could work on school stuff. I hated it though, since it was really slow and my internet now is much much faster than my old dial up. Though because I have wireless I tend to get disconnected a bit, because of interference. I guess when I have enough money and time, I'll get a better wireless router.

Though I am content with what I have now, better than dial up, by far. I feel sorry for those with dial up.. D: But well, what can you do? :x

Tell me about it...ugh. I hated downloading stuff over dial-up due to being disconnected all of the time. I'm just glad that I was finally able to resume downloads after being disconnected. That made things so much easier.

They got it because it was the cheapest? That sucks.
We've never been able to afford high speed Internet...it's been annoying. I had to deal with dial-up every time I went to my dad's over break. Luckily, they now have high speed Internet and a wireless router. Now, when I go there, I can be online all of the time. ^^
I am way too addicted to the Internet.

I'm addicted to this

This image is not animated. It's a JPEG.
Don't move your eyes and you will see no movement but when you do...

Haha...I love those. That's funny, we were just talking about the nervous system, vision, and optical illusions in my Psychology class about an hour ago. XD

I think my eyes are messed up, I only see a static image of curved lines and colours.

I think my computer's messed up and I can't see the image. :[ What the hell.

I can't see magiceye images for some reason, I tend to stop focusing and lose concentrating. Yay for having a small attention span.

I can't see any illusions that require depth perception...It's because I tend to not use both of my eyes at the same time...it gets pretty annoying.

I think I have pretty bad depth perception. XD; But some optical illusions I can see, but it takes a while. But it hurts my eyes though. I'm not sure whether it's because I have poor eye sight or I concentrate too hard.

I can't see those hidden images anyway, I have astigmatism in both eyes. It sucks especially when I have to get glasses, seeing as I have to buy 2 different prescription lenses. (my one eye is nearsighted, while the other in farsighted -_-)

Optical illusions need to move faster, lag in the appearance. XD;

I love looking at optical illusions mainly because they're executed in a way that conflicts the sort of logic your eyes abide by. So it's always interesting to see a cluster of contrasting colours having that locomotive look because of the way they're aligned with each other.

Though I'm more fond of optical illusions that contain double imagery, where you could think the image itself is something when it's only the outline of something else. Very clever.

My eyes are pretty much the same way, so I know exactly how you feel. It's very annoying. Although, it is kinda interesting to see the look people give you when you tell them that you're both. People around here just don't seem to understand that it is possible.
