I presume it's of the older generation? 'Cause it may be worth saving up for one from 2009 or later, which all have the new motherboards inside. Old systems only get the old motherboard model put in them when repair work is done.

Well, those ones had the older, more fault-prone motherboards still. Any 2009 or later Xbox 360 should have one of the new motherboards, mostly likely "Jasper".
