I've heard this card goes for upwards of $400.

I have a binder of about 520 Pokemon cards. I also have about five Japanese cards, including a Japanese Dark Golbat holographic card. I dunno how much it is worth, but I assume it isn't much.

When PSA graded, yes, it still does. It fetches between $20 and $70 otherwise, depending on the condition and the version, and can be even less if the card is not well taken care of.

Maybe you should ask that over in TCG, haha. That section could use more posters. I have a price in my head, but I'm not spilling it here anymore, since the TCG section needs more love.

My card shop close to here sells it for $15-25, and buys it off you for like $8.

The average person won't have a Charizard going for more than that shop, since few people will actually pay more than that (though those few that do keep the freaking prices of the sellers high on eBay because they do buy it u_u) unless it's PSA-graded, like I mentioned above.

That's a travesty of card usage! D:

though it makes the value of my cards higher in the long run
 
So yea, I took my cards to a card dealer (except for about 50) and he gave me $350 for about 700 of them. (Mind you they were all normal ones :x)

My parents finally accepted my dream career! :D

Going for your dream career? Niiice. Mine are almost unreachable for now, and aren't anything that make me a millionaire like my parents want. So they think I should become a doctor something. o__O No thanks. I have my own reasons for not wanting a career in the medical field.. xD;
 
My dream career is going into the media as a reporter. From uni and other things, it's pretty reachable within a few years imo.
 
I wanna go into media tooo.. but mine is voice acting, video editing, or sound editing.

My dream career? Supreme ruler of the galaxy.

But realistically I'm looking into something related to finance because that's what my degree is in and I like to deal with cold hard cash :P

My expertise in media is basically limited to making anime music videos on my computer.
 
My dream career is anything with computers, because I just love messing around with them. xD I also want to get into Graphic Arts.
 
I'm not going to be paid a lot, but at least I'll enjoy what I'm doing, and I guess that's all that matters. :<
 
Mmhmm, that's the way I look at it. I'll make enough to keep a roof over my head, and as long as I'm doing something that I love, that's all I need. My family wants me to make all this money, at the cost of doing something I'm not interested in. :/ Not gonna happen. Money is a lot, but it's not everything. xD;
 
Eh, if everyone went for exactly what they wanted to do then it'd be nice, true, but I don't know if it can completely come before money. I know a lot of people work jobs they don't really like for high paychecks and have a great lifestyle because of it, outside of work.
 
I would like to explain that to my parents, but, they're like 'First money, then happiness.' My family is a bunch of idiots. I swear.
 
I really need to stop forgetting about this place.

Luckily for me, the career I'm going to I love and is well paid as an added bonus.
 
I am a freelance portrait artist. I can get paid a grand for one piece if the conditions are right...the problem is getting people to hire me. Not that it matters too much. I just love doing what I love.
 
Okay...so I hate being a conversation stopper. I should probably mention that I havent been hired in over a year.

So anyways....ya....thinking about getting a pet but I cant decide between a chihuahua or a kitty. I would name the puppy Pikachu and the kitty Skitty...creative I know.

Thoughts?

Sorry to hear you haven't been hired yet. I know the job market is horrible these days in some areas. :/

Chihuahuas & kitties do not get along whatsoever. Chihuahuas make really good pets if you prefer small breeds, but to be honest, they make too much noise. Kitties are awesome companions. They are like your human best friends. ^___^ Naming your kitty Skitty sounds so creative.
