Oh, complete sure with that statement, Pokemon X/Y are well executed in design, development, and story. The 3D ability of the N3DS just added more to it really.

I loved Platinum over Diamond and Pearl though, same with Saph/Ruby/Emer. I am a bit dashed that there is going to be no remake of Hoenn, since it deserves at least a remake like Gold, Silver, Red, and Blue.

I know the feeling all too well, in truth. I still believe in a remake. I loved my Sapphire to its death, after the internal clock battery was replaced for the third and last time (yeah, I went through this three times xD) and when the message about the battery clock came up, I always cried a bit.

I am still hoping and believing in a remake of Ruby and Sapphire. And the reason why I said that is because several folk I have talked with from here and elsewhere keep telling me to forget about it and just let it die. It hurts to hear that and then refute their statement, because they either hate Nintendo in general (one of them is a die-hard Xbox fanboy) and/or just hate Pokemon in general. I understand they have a right to talk about games, and their opinion, but when its hateful and hurtful, I asked them to either to quiet about it or just drop the subject (sometimes, they will not and just taunt and bad mouth about it [thus resulting in a lot of broken friendships in my early years]).

Sorry if I upset you, Landorus. Its was just I had another problemantic talk with something about the topic and I might of expressed some (on accident) on here. Like priory said, I am hoping, and still wanting a Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, heck even Emerald remake on the N3DS, even if it has to recycle the X/Y engine. I would be enough for me. :)

I just started playing Diablo 3 again. Oh god it's so fantastic.

My boyfriend just snagged Danganronpa and I'm pretty psyched to steal it from him.
 
I think that the reason we're talking about games is because it's basically the only thing we all have in common. The reason we're here is because of three Pokémon games!

I play Civ V on occasion. TBS is not my fave type of strategy games though, more of a RTS fan but I like Civ nonetheless

That's basically me right now.

I suck at Civ. I pirated Civ 5 once, lost a few matches in a row, and realized I had no idea how to be good at the game so I quit. :(

Step 1: Invest in all thiings leading up to nukes.
Step 2: Get nukes early (relatively) in the game.
Step 3: Nuke everything.
 
I play with my friends on Civ5 a lot. I had a game once where I was making 12,405 gold a round and 18 cities. It was crazy, but one of the major issues with my laptop is that the game overheats the core and I have to stop before it shuts off or crashes.

The funny thing is, no other game does this at all.

Team Fortress 2? No problems.
Burnout: Paradise with max settings? No issues here!
Skyrim on HD? No problems.
Spore: GA with max settings? Nope, no problems still.

Civ5 on Dx9 settings, everything low...? CPU Clocks near 95C and I have to stop after 30 minutes of play. :/

Its strange and sad really.
 
I know your pain. I can play Civ 5, Diablo 3, MW3, Ghosts, etc all at max graphics.

Minecraft? Nope. Gotten go to bare minimum.

I got my Minecraft to work after some graphic tweaks to the inner system settings as well as allocating more RAM to Minecraft when playing.

I'm not sure that amount of work is worth it for Minecraft.
 
Minecraft is just plain weird when it comes to making it run properly... I have a quadcore, 8GB's of RAM and still the sodding thing runs at 20fps, which is a shame considering how the game looks overall n such. I can run StarCraft II with normal settings and I get 90-100 fps and CS:GO on high settings even at 130 fps at times...
