I was browsing the Pokemon Center website yesterday and I just realized what I'm going to get for a few of my friends! I'm amazed that the Pokeplushies there have pretty good prices. If only I had some extra spending money I'd get a Fennekin plushie for myself <3
 
All this plushie talk reminds me how much I miss the old Pikachu plushie I had when I was younger... the poor thing got given away due to my mother claiming I'm too old for plushies. But it was one of many reasons why Pikachu is always a fave Pokemon for me.
 
Ah, a year ago when I went to NYC I went to the Pokémon Center and got a White Kyurem plushie for over $25, and an Oshawott, Drilbur and Timburr to go alongside it. And the White Kyurem sits on my desk in my college dorm. Goodness, a 23-year old (22 at that time) having Pokémon plushies on his desk? Doesn't feel right, but I so don't care. x3

Unfortunately, I called off going to NYC this year, so I didn't get to see if there were any new ones. I bet there would have been, what with the release of ORAS.
 
I have a ton. Okay not a ton. I have about...10 or 11? I guess you can count Pichu, but Pichu isn't really a plushie but rather a clock. And I have a Bulbasaur that was gifted to me by my first boyfriend. It's a long explanation on why I still have it and not destroyed it with fire. lol.

My most favorite is my giant Togepi <3
 
Our local drug store used to sell Pokémon plush dolls on the cheap, and we got more than a few from there. We used to buy plushies off of Amazon and eBay back a few years ago when the inflation on them was through the roof after the closing of the Pokémon Center website. Our $50 Eeveeloutions were so worth it once we got them home. <3

Since I stole my SSD our PayPal was canceled, and it seems my aunt is buying the RAM chip I want for my laptop this Christmas. I dunno when I'm going to bleach my hair as my mother's finances are a mess.

I hate being poor like this because we're not poor. We make rather decent money and have friends and family with stable incomes and my mother's just stupid with the cash she has and prefers to live like all of her money after bills is just free spending cash, which it's not because half the time she forgets something ridiculously important and even when she doesn't we have nothing saved for anything that might pop up down the road. I have more pride in my finances than this and it bothers me so much that she doesn't. <_<
 
So my reddit secret Santa giftee likes pokemon. I sent her Pokémon if any of your live in Michigan you might be getting stuff next week.

^Ebay is the best to go if you are looking for a Raichu plushie.

I need a Meganium one, badly. I gotta have one in my collection.

Hot Topic has a bunch of Eeveevolution plushies. But they are like $18 each, and they aren't that big. I have a feeling that resistance is going to be really low one of these days and I'm going to end up buying them all, at the same time.

Anybody seen the 'Trainer's Choice' Plushies hitting shelves? They are pretty neat.

I think next year at the local Anime Convention I'm going to get a few Pokemon Plushies.

Or, I might try Amazon. XD I might just wait until next year to get a Raichu plush at my convention though. What I REALLY want is a plush of Darkrai though. *_* Anyway, my parents don't really like Ebay though. D: I still have to get their permission to do things that involve buying online, especially since it comes from my dad's bank account.

I saw those! I was hoping to see a Umbreon for my boyfriend, but they didn't have any. :( I wanted to get him umbreon while I have Espeon because we are like... umbreon and espeon.
 
Not including shipping charges and such, but the Pokemon Plushies from the Pokemon Center website are cheaper. O_o I found an Espurr one earlier today (and a CHIKORITA KEYCHAIN AHHH). I get paid this week. Someone please lock my bank account.
 
Having a past emo/scene/whatever the hell you call it, I can say Hot Topic is definitely not the best place for plushies. I go to almost every hot topic in every town im in, and plushies are not TOO common. Dont get me wrong when you find some, theyre good, but expensive. Id recommend some online stores.
 
I would feel rather funny getting a plushie online and having it shipped xP But I have on occasion seen Pokémon plushies at Hot Topic in the mall I go to, but sometimes when I go they're out of what there was last I would be there.

(Also, why does my computer's spell check think "plushie" is misspelled?)

My first plush was a Dewott plush I had imported from the Tokyo Pokemon Center. I paid $40 for it becuase they didn't sell them out side of the Pokemon Center. I was also way too embarrassed about buying one in person at the time. About a year later they started selling the same plushies in the states. Picked one up for $8 at Target or Toy'R Us. >_>

Speaking of Target and Toy 'R Us. Those are the best places to get official plushies.(imo)
 
Oh, plushies... How did I ever start wanting to collect them?

My first one was an Oshawott, and ever since then, I just love them. What is the appeal to these things? :T

I even have a Waluigi plush as my second.

If Dustox was an actual plush... I would absolutely buy it. You know, if money was plentiful, sobs.
