Comparing your hometown to the Pokemon world

Let's use our imagination and think for a second where in the Pokemon world our hometown or city most resembles. Are you surrounded by a lot of water? Maybe you would be somewhere in the Hoenn region! As for me, I live in a quiet area for the most part, not many people, and there is quite a bit of forests. My town kind of resembles something like Verdanturf actually! What about you guys?

I think mine would look a lot like Pallet town with it being around a lot of forests and stuff plus it is pretty small just like Pallet town so i'll go with that :)

Given I'm someone who lives in a fairly urbanized area, I feel like it's easily comparable to Unova. The fact I live in an apartment block reminds me of Hearthome City in Sinnoh as well, given it has a few around there.

I'd say here it would be a mix between Hoenn's Slateport City and Unova's Castelia. Sydney is the biggest city in Australia (no duh), and there are a countless number of ships that I see in the harbour. We even have our own yacht.

I'd have to go with the original version of Mauville City. My city is near a river and a powerplant and people come and go from it in all four directions. It also has a few casinos plus bicycling is becoming a big thing here in recent months, so it's practically a perfect fit.

My town has the country's largest man made lake, and where I live is surrounded in several water channels leading into the lake... so there's a lot of water and trees everywhere. It feels a little like Ever Grande or Mossdeep City, I guess?

Maybe it's the Johto fanboy in me talking, but I'd have to say Johto. A lot of Johto Pokemon resemble animals that live around here (such as bears, snakes, and deer). I live in a suburban area with lots of hills and a forest behind my house. We've even got a well (not that there's any Slowpoke in there), so I guess it's most like Azalea Town?

It takes about half an hour to get to the city from here, so I guess Azalea fits even more because we could compare the city to Goldenrod.

Well considering I live in New York City, the answer is obvious. Castelia City, Unova.

Well, seeing as I was raised in the 18éme arrondissement of Paris, I would have to say Lumiose City (for the obvious reasons), though I'm currently living in San Francisco, so Castelia City, maybe?

My home town would pretty much any Orange Island, with lots and lots of dog pokemon. Im from Puerto Rico...so...many...dogs...

where i live.... i would say oldale town

Anville Town almost perfectly matches the town I currently live in; it has a train track and station, along with plenty of trains, has a very small population, is rural, and is located in the middle of nowhere.

Where I currently live...definitely in the Hoenn region. Specifically...I'd like to say Lilycove City because of the proximity to the ocean and the general feel it has.
