I agree, I was angry when I found out he was the only one with his anime cry too. I think they should make it an option to hear the different cries for all of them.
I doubt the costumes stay during battle too but something has to be up for them to have them in contests and amie, makes me go...hmmm?

Pikachu being customizable is certainly interesting; I'm not a fan of Pika but I might catch one just to dress it up, especially if it ends up being the only customizable Pokemon. Sort of hoping it'll be like an Amity Square thing where a few others get this option, though.

Also, Brawly has the best redesign so far; he's really hot, hnnnngh. I love how Phoebe looks, too, and am glad she gets Dusknoir~

I wouldn't be surprised. We now have several announced features which include the return of Aime, Super Secret Bases, Primal Reversions, and new Megas, as well as new characters (well one thus far).
 
Does anyone think that the Pika costumes may actually end up affecting how it battles? They may end up being special formes for it. Btw anyone else noticed that all five have a heart shaped tail? Are they all female? I noticed their tails have black in the heart part. So maybe for Pikachu it's more than just customization, but another attempt by GF to make Pikachu more special than Pichu and Raichu...
 
Pikachu is the official mascot, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was their intent. Also, their all being female makes me wonder if it'll be an event Pikachu that can only be female, though I doubt that's the case. (Hard Rock Pika looks so weird when you consider the fact it's female.)
 
Perhaps Masked Pikachu can finally make it Electric/Fighting like the jokes about how Ash's Pikachu is part fighting type due to the gloves it wore in the original anime that went down during Get Tv's episode with the first look at ORAS.

Eh? I was saying that perhaps it'll be Pikachu only, you know, to make it even more special. The fact that each one has a name makes me think that perhaps they're Pikachu only contest forms...
 
So Sydney is wearing a Mega Bracelet. Mega Shiftry confirmed? And if Shiftry gets one, that means Ludicolo also gets one! PokéJungle.also mentions Phoebe has a Mega item as well, but I can't see it. And now her ace is Dusknoir, there might be a Mega Dusknoir. Although I think it's pretty redundant. She can use Mega Sableye or Mega Banette instead. Mega Dusknoir with Iron Fist please!

I'm so glad the Sinnoh evolutions are included. If Dusknoir is in the main-game, Probopass, Magnezone, Gallade, Roserade, Froslass and Rhyperior should also be included as well.

Is it a Mega Bracelet? I couldn't make out the helix of the bracelet in the scans we have.

It may be covered up by the words.
Mega Dusknoir would be awesome.
The pre-evolutions such as Budew and Chingaling should be added too.

It doesn't seem like it says on the article, so I'm remaining skeptical unless there's proof that it is, in fact, an item used for Mega Evolving. (If it is, then I would bet Phoebe has hers on the leg that's hidden behind her skirt.)
 
Yeah I'm expecting some sort of trailer on the Pokémon Youtube channel, iirc they did the same last month when the Starter & Diancie Megas were revealed in CoroCoro. Either that or Smash.
 
Wasn't that trailer a commercial for the games they had in Europe? We may have to wait for the official site to update. I hope it has some details on the Pikachu formes (I'll be calling them that for awhile). Well they promised more info next month so maybe we won't learn anything else about them. I expect them to go deeper into telling us how many Pokémon have been added to the Hoenn dex. If only the evolutions are added what will the mascot's new numbers be?

It hasn't been.confirmed yet, but you can clearly see a bracelet with a stone on top of it. And of you look closely, you can see black markings, just like how Mega stones have black markings in them. But this scenario is similiar to Archie and Maxie. They obviously wear Mega Stones but it isn't confirmed yet.
