I know I could live without it, but It'd be a pretty boring reality that would probably mean I'd move to live with someone else in my family who has neighbours that I could become friends with or something. (It sucks living next to hermits and little kids that are like a quarter my age)

but yeah I could live without internet.
 
Excellent question... I believe that most of my mental stability is held together by the internet at this point. If I lost it, I'd be freaking out for awhile, but within maybe 6 months, I'd adapt. Needless to say though, better watch those pill bottles... >.<
 
Er, I guess I could live. I wouldn't commit suicide or anything but I'd miss my forum friends, Wikipedia, Youtube, every other great website there is and MSN. I'd say I'd get pretty bored a lot of the time without it, but I'd live.
 
I'll live, it will get boring yes, but I'll live, after all I do have my school work to focus and my future after all. So, I'll live, even if it wouldn't be the same without my online friends. ;;
 
Well, if there isn't any internet, I'm going to have to live with.. er.. without(?) it. XD

I'm sure after a few weeks I'll get used to it. Plus, it gives me reason to get out more and stop getting fatter and fatter sitting infront of the computer whenever I'm home.

Even though I'm not very fat, that's what happens when you don't go out much. XD
 
Yeah, I could adjust, but a little part of me would die along the way. XD;
I have some really good friends online that I would really miss. AAAAND, I would have to do research for homework with books. DDDDDDDDX
 
Yes. However, I would be incredibly miserable. I wouldn't be happy at all. I just spent about 3 days without the internet and that was tough. XD
 
Hm. Well. If I was born in a time with no internet, I would live. XD But if it got taken away from me... it would be tough. But at the moment, I don't need it to survive. So I could make it =] I would just be terribly miserable XD
 
I once didn't have internet for about six months, and it was so hard. Then I got used to it because I concentrated on my work and do other things(like exercised, and went to bed early). But then I start missing my online friends. It was tough knowing that I probably won't hear from them again...But once I got my computer fixed, everything was great again.

But besides the point...I can't live without the internet. Because I do online billing and I check my bank statements online. I also shop online and I am thinking about taking online courses when I got back to college.

So no, I need the internet.
 
It's very stupid as there'd be no more online banking, immediate information check up, convenient text messaging, online manga reading, online shopping and downloading. It won't just be an emotional depression from missing friends, but a technical depression too.

The only things left remaining are RL friends, school and work. Which I suppose I can live off of, for better or worse, so I voted yes. I don't really consider the people I know IRL my friends though, but I guess that doesn't really matter when you're as friendly to strangers as me =P

I require the net for so many things it ridiculous, though I may just be lazy and prefer the net cause it's easier to get stuff :o
But yeah, I'm sure I could...but I defiantly wouldn't wanna find out or test if I could.

I could definitely live without it. It would be hard, I'll admit, but I'd just have to deal with the fact.
 
Can a person live without air? No. Just like I couldn't live without the internet. Sure, maybe a few years ago before I started getting on and all of that... but now... I couldn't live without it. Not only for info and such on things, but mostly for my friends.

A few months back the motherboard on my laptop played out. And I was getting online with my PSP (and if any of you have a PSP, and tried getting online with that then you know how bad I had it). I had to go get one of my old computers out so I could get online. Not so much to "get online" but to talk to my friends.
 
Yeah, I could… it'd take a while to get used to it. But the only downside would be that I'd have to watch tv shows on my tv…
 
I could easily survive, but this Internet holds my homework and other important things. I would miss my friends and this computer got me good at Sport (Not a joke, I got tips from this machine xD)

So I would survive, but I would definitely not like it!
 
... Asian buddy, you're not the one who killed the internet, right?

yeah I probably could live without the internet but I'd have no friends to hang out with(I have my reasons to why I don't have any IRL friends >.>)
 
I lived for 16 years without it, so yes, I probably could. I can have a life out there, go to the beach everyday and surf, play games, go to public school... Would I want to? Not really, but if I hard to, I suppose I could. I was fine without the net before, so yeah, I could go live without it, but I'd rather not from all the friends I've made and such.
