I hate to admit it-- but I'm a Freshman in High School. Yes, the horrible year where your classmates still think putting boogers on door knobs is funny.

I honestly can't bring myself to identify with any of these people, so I don't have a single friend under the age of twenty. About the only person I could call my "friend" is more of my adviser, the cleanup lady for the house.

On the bright side however, there is the wonderful invention called "the internet" so I do have some contact with saner people across the world. :P

This is EXCATLY how I feel about school. Most of the children are irritating and are the main reason why I hate school.
 
Going to College on September.

My HS life has been boring outside the Internet TBH.
 
If that's the topic, I came to PC to check out other forums with fanfiction sections. XD

As for the school-type convo, I'm currently in my 2nd year of uni in a 3-year-minimum course. Still have summer holidays where I live though for a few weeks yet.
 
I joined because I had a shiny Pokemon I wanted to post about... I think. That and the fact that this was a nice and shiny (no wordplay intended, whoops) Pokemon forum that I could join for the sake of joining. I think I had at one point been joining just about every forum I saw that was pertinent to my interests at the time (Sim City, Civilization, Pokemon, and random 80s lyrics boards). I think this has resulted in one username of mine (djrules5454) being registered at over 50 different forums, 90% of which have been dead for a few, if not several years.
 
I came here for the hacking, and ended up loving it, so I stayed and checked out the rest of the forum.
 
I had a very long story in how I joined PC, but imma make it short and simple.

Joined because I wanted to learn how to hack, but I kinda lost interest in it because it was so much work. But still, that's not just the reason I joined the community. I joined because I want to share (and show off) my interest in Pokemon in general. That's pretty much it.
 
I joined because it was another place to collect events at. Now a days I don't even trade, unless I do giveaways.
 
I think a lot of people joined to learn how to rom hack. I joined back in '04 when hacking for ruby and sapphire were getting pretty big. I got pretty big into for a while, but like most others it kinda just faded into the background...I'm really glad i joined though, it was a big part of my life in my mid teens.
