Daily Chit-Chat -- Winter and/or Summer Edition

Not ribs. Prime Rib. It's basically a really super fancy, extra good steak, that's slow roasted like... a roast.

No beef, no meat, no pork. I'm all chicken, turkey & fish.

I'm supposed to be spending Christmas with my family, but there's a lot of fighting going around, and there's a better chance that I might spend it alone. All of my friends traveled to their families outside of my area. I'm left in the cold.

I like to eat meat, just some I'm not too fond of as it may or may not be tender enough. I dislike eating fish though.

As for christmas, I'm going up to the grandparents' house for it, as I do every second year.

We have Christmas at home in the morning, then the family all gets together at my Grandmother's house for the big party. ^__^

It's a little harder for me. My grandma lives at least 2 hours away from me (without toilet breaks) all the way in the countryside, so it's either up there or at my place. It's always good to go up there though.

My grandfather lives across a pasture from me. XD; It's about 200 yards, or so.
But, we tend to drive there to avoid spilling goods. Lol.

I have no idea what a yard is. Isn't America meant to follow the new measurement system with like, meters and kilometers now, or is yards/miles the new measurement system?

A meter is roughly equivalent to a yard, I think. :<

Anyway, it's not very far. But, it's substantial enough to be pretty far. ):

I don't watch American Football, so I haven't seen one before, but I did see the Rose Bowl on an Amazing Race thing once. I think they had to help decorate a parade float.

Yeah, I didn't do anything either. All I did was clean the house and visit my doctor for my blood test results. I still have a rough 2 months of break to go, so... gotta find something to do. :P

America seems to be the dominant country, but there are so many things that only America do, because it's too hard for them to have a little change.
- Old Measurement system.
- Their date is mm/dd/yyyy instead of dd/mm/yyyy.
- As fas as I know, they only drive in the right side of the road.

Actually, most of the world drives on the right side of the road, believe it or not.

All of those are correct. However, despite the third one, people have no problem ignoring the 'right side' rule at the mall/the hallways at school.

Nothing annoys me more than when I'm walking on the right side of a school hallway and a big group of people are walking head on towards me. :tired:
