I?ve never moved, and quite frankly I think I?d hate it. I really count on seeing my friends here, and living in this comfy house. ._.; My mom moved like once a week when she was little though. o_o

When I go to a family reunion 98% of the people there I don't have a clue who they are. We just find someone we know and hang around them and also leave before every one leaves. XD

Lol, I went to a birthday party for my cousin's grandmother today. (I'm only related to her because my uncle used to be married to her daughter.) I stayed right by my grandmother the whole time; I didn't know hardly anyone! o_o Only the people in my family that I see often. The rest were just her friends... Though, it was fun!

I watched JAWS the whole ride home. That movie still creeps me out! XD My grandfather won one of those portable DVD players for your car, in a golf tournament, (I need to start playing golf, lol.) and it's really neat.

I've only been to one family reunion before... and it was in 1993. The only reason I remember this event is because I have a tee shirt from it. And since it's my dad's side of the family, I didn't know anyone really. I remember hanging out with a bunch of boys... some of them may have been my cousins that I kinda know but the rest I had no idea who they were. Plus I would've only been 5 at the time anyway so I don't remember. I remember that we played down by some river or lake or something though...

My mom's side has no reason for a reunion, being as that they are Italians and every event that gets held, everyone is invited too! So everything we go to is basically a reunion. Italians tend to do everything with the whole family... even if they don't know most of the people. I usually hang around with my cousins and my sister when we get together though... since I actually know them! And they are pretty close to my age compared to everyone else...

Tell me about it, I knew none of my aunts and uncles the last reunion I had.

My mom's side has no reason for a reunion, being as that they are Italians and every event that gets held, everyone is invited too! So everything we go to is basically a reunion. Italians tend to do everything with the whole family... even if they don't know most of the people. I usually hang around with my cousins and my sister when we get together though... since I actually know them! And they are pretty close to my age compared to everyone else...

Almost everyone in my family comes during holidays and everything, so our get-togethers are kind of like yours. ^_^; Though, I know everyone in my family, since mine isn't really big. (I do have some relatives that I don't know, but they live far away.) I just don't have anyone my age to talk to, unless I want to hang out with my brother and cousin. (And sit around and play video games all day... No thanks!) I have two girl cousins that I go to town and shop with and stuff, but one is in their late teens, and the other is 21, so we don't really have the same interests, ehe. My grandmother is probably the only person, (Along with my mom) that shares the same interests as me. She's really sweet, she loves animals and nature, (Especially dolphins, like me!) etc. We're a lot alike, so she's fun to hang out with!

That's what I do too. I hang around with my first cousins. I see them a lot so we all know each other pretty well. And we get along really well too! My other cousins I see once at year or so... so I don't know them. One of the came to my Confirmation party and he sat with me and my other cousins... and we didn't say a word to each other. I felt bad after but I had nothing to say since I don't really know him. I really hate family gatherings though... I never know half the people there even though they claim to know me...

Yeah that's kinda how it is for me to Kayleigh. When I'm with my dad's family at least. The only person near my age is my sister. And she's the only one I really know. So I bring my cd player and GBA and sit and play that. My cousins are all out of high school already. The youngest other than me just graduated either last year or the year before. The only other girls are both married. So I just sit with my sister... they try to talk to me but I have nothing to say to them since I don't know them! But! My oldest female cousin sometimes goes to Japan cuz she taught there or something! So back when Pokemon just came out she would always bring me gifts! I have these really cute bags from Japan too!

I know! It's freaky when they just suddenly run up to you, shouting your name and then they give you a huge hug, and you're like, 'I've never even seen you before!' Then, it ends up that the last time that they saw you was when you were a baby. That happened today, lol. People kept on saying how much I've grown and everything. o_o; Oh well...

Ohh, and you're so lucky! That must be nice to have gotten so many neat things from Japan! My cousin used to work at one of the Sanrio stores, and she used to bring me a lot of cute gifts.

The last really huge family/friend reunion in my family was last year. My grandfather's best friend, my mother, and my aunt all came up with the idea of having a party for my grandparents. It was a few months after their house had burned down, and they were really feeling sad. It all turned out to be so nice! They loved how it turned out, and it was a huge surprise for them! ^_^ Everyone brought some things that they could give them to keep, like some military things for my grandfather, (He was in the Air Force for a very long time) and pictures for my grandmother. They lost everything, so it was very nice of everyone to give them so much.

She's so much older than me. But it is nice at Christmastime when I do see her. And it's nice that she brings back gifts from Japan when she goes there... and she goes fairly often!

Yep, I'm listening to Hoku! You've been talking about her a lot and it made me want to listen to her again! I haven't really heard her music since I saw her at a radio disney concert a few years ago. I think my friend has her cd... I know she wanted it a few years ago... she wanted Hoku and Aaron Carter... but I don't remember which she got...

Using my real name is just fine! I agree that it is easier using real names if the other person doesn't mind. And I don't mind at all... I actually kinda prefer my real name now since most people call me Ashley anyway...

I wish I was more fluent in other languages too. I can understand Italian... I just can't speak it! But I don't think my relatives realize I understand them. I have to reply to them in English though. I used to be able to speak some Italian but I've lost most of it...

Yeah, I guess you inspired me to listen to her! I used to really like her back when she was coming out with new music. It would be really cool if she came out with more though!

Eh, family reunions...I don't go to them but my mom does sometimes...the one that I did go to I hated, because it was a huge group of people related to my mom's aunt that I didn't even know about...my entire family is insane, honestly. I can't stand to be around them a lot because of their antics which are usually either vulgar or juvenile. I've grown mistrustful of my family over the years as I've grown older and realized how different I am from them all...there's no way in which I'm the same, I think...I look much different, think much different, I even sound a lot different. I have nothing in common with any of my relatives so I don't go. Speaking of family, I've got a couple of distant relations over today...bleh.
