I don't have any homework since I've been doing SATs all week. Boo me... but still - at least I get no homework. :D I suppose I'm like snowangel3181988 and Lighting, although on top of that, I can only fall asleep in a bed. Once, when I was coming back from holiday from Orlando to Newcastle, England - it was an 8 hour NIGHT FLIGHT!!! I didn't even sleep a wink. All I had to entertain me was Cheaper by the Dozen three times. That film gets boring incredibly quickly...

That can't be good for your health? How do you do it... last night around midnight I fet like I was going to collapse because I was tired. I used to be able to stay up all night when I was in middle school though... now I need to sleep longer...

And please... don't put the numbers trailing my name! Unless of course it's March! But it's not so I don't need to see my b-day all the time. I just like to type the numbers... not see them. Unless of course you enjoy typing them too! Or if your like Lightning and copied and pasted it...
 
Nah... didn't copy and paste, but numbers are fun. 1234567890... you can never get bored of them. That's why I like Maths so much... it's nearly all number work, apart from Shapes... Stupid squares and paralellograms and triangles!!!!! At least with triangles and circles you can use Pi, SIne, Cosine and Tangent. Pythag and Trigonometry is so easy, if you have a calculator that is :D

I don't have a clue how I do it I just do it. XD
But half way in the day I get sleepy so I get on the computer and that wakes me up. XD
 
Okay then! Well if you insist on using them go ahead. I just like to tell people that they don't have to. Math is fun for me too. Except geometry. Proofs are no fun. I like to "plug-and-chug" and my teacher calls it. Taking numbers and sticking them into an equation! Trig is fun! But last year it confused me so much.
I can use it on it's own to find angles and sides but I can't apply it to a problem about force. I don't want to take physics senior year... I'll probably fail it. When I took the intro to it last year I almost failed...
 
Oh, all I find is that Physics is just maths with an actual purpose. To find turning moments you need the equation - Moment = Force x Perpendicular Distance. That's Maths, the same goes for Pressure = Force/Area, Speed = Distance/Time. Well, come to think of it... that's all work on forces... nothing on hard stuff like Quantum Physics which I'll have to endure when I turn 16... :D

I've found math to be ridiculously easy...I mean, there's not logic to it whatsoever...at all!!

The weather here is gloomy today. It's all cloudy, and there was some fog earlier too. I also heard from my grandma after church that we are suppose to have a thunderstorm tonight. Fun...
 
Math is pretty enjoyable to be, though I do agree proofs suck. I had them a lot last year? and didn?t do so well. Nyah. >.>

Arcanine, you must have the ?Early Bird? trait or something. =p Ooo? sounds like your phone is fancy then Erica.

*sniff* Those good old days when Math was easy and it didn't matter if you did your homework or not, you'd do excellent anyways! ^__^
 
Proofs buried me last year...actually all of geometry buried me. After a whole year of doing it, I don't remember any of it...but Algebra II is so much easier. I prefer it because there's nothing more to remember than formulas. This is the first time in 5 years I've had straight-As in math, and it's really awesome to be good at it for a change :P The only problem is that the class is prep-infested and if I ever get an answer wrong in class they snicker about it...but my silent, supreme revenge is in knowing how much it ticks them off that my average in there is higher than theirs...heh :P

Same here. In 3rd grade, we used M&M's to figure out math problems, and then we could eat them afterwards. That was always fun. Now, we have extremely hard stuff, like finding the answer to the "Traveling Salesperson Problem", Gray Code, and stuff like that.
 
I remember using M&Ms for math as late as last year...we had to use the colors and positions of the m's to encode the digits of pi...it was hard, but somehow with a regular bag of M&Ms I was able to get to the 53rd digit of pi or something o_o;; I also won a pie in a pi-day contest that year...the teacher was a bit too obsessed with the number but it was still fun :P

lol, I use spend Math class taking challenges to do huge giant Math multiplication problems without a calculator, they were kind of fun for a while.

OK, let's talk about another school subject... Physics! I like Physics out of all the Sciences, it's the most logical... and it makes the most money out of all of them (or so I'm told by this weird internet website that I can't remember the name of).
