I know that astro boy was the first anime show but shows like cyborg009 is like it but that show just came out.

Speaking of manga, I bought my first edition of Shonen Jump a few months ago...they have a lot of great stuff in there...my favorite article in there is probably One Piece...I wish I could get more editions, but I don't think my parents would let me subscribe and I can't find individual editions anywhere ._.

One Piece? That would be one thing that I will prefer Anime over Manga =P
But I'm too lazy to faithfully watch it every Sunday.

I never had Shonen Jump, neither have I read it before, but the closest thing to that that I ever have was a Magazine of Happy x2, from Taiwan. My last issue had Pokemon Special, Beyblade, Doreamon and some others which I don't know their English names.

Whoo, this is the first time I've been home all day....
Oh, and I got to see Shrek 2! It's a really good movie! Even better then the first one in my opinion! Although there was some adult humor, (I just shrugged it off) it's actually a very heartwarming movie. The movie starts out pretty slow, so I was a little skeptical, but once things pick up the pace the fur begins to fly!
....has anyone else seen it?
Livin' la vida loca hehe...

Shrek2 sounds like a good movie to watch, but I'm not watching that show as I'm saving up money to watch Harry Potter this June with my best friends, even though Book 3 was my least favourite book. Peer pressure --;;

I guess if you're after something more epic, Harry Potter is the way to go. If you want all-out laughs, Shrek 2 will more then suffice for that!
It was your least favorite book? For me, it was number two. Quite honestly, I didn't remember anything about a basilisk when I saw the movie hehe...

Yeah the commercial was pretty funny also.
Nice to see Shrek getting abused by a cat. :P

My least favorite book was the third one also.
I skipped like...100 pages. XD
I sort of fell asleep in that book and missed the plot of it. :P

All Harry Potter books are nice to me. I may dislike book 3, but the story is alright to keep me awake reading it for the whole night.
Harry Potter books can easily rival any computer game I play. When I play computer games, I can easily go without sleep for one night, like yesterday when I was playing Final Fantasy Adventures GB (1991) on my computer in my room, until 5am in the morning, and I woke at 8.30pm. That's 3 and a half hours of sleep for me yesterday, but I don't feel tired at all.
This is strange, as on normal school days I sleep for about 7-8 hours and I wake up feeling really tired.

I want tos ay so many things that were in the movie, but I don't want to spoil it! Let's just say that the audience roared with laughter countless times...myself being one of them hehe...

I thought the third one was pretty good! It was my favorite out of the first three!

Oh, and I know how that feels Purin! It's really strange, that even if you get a lot of sleep, sometimes it ends up doing more harm then good! You're even sleepier!

Ah, so this is me lad Jordan's source of Shrek gab. I was wondering why everything you posted about had some comment relating to Shrek 2. Jeez, I didn't even know that movie was out in theaters yet, lol. O_o Shows how much I pay attention to commercials anymore, huh? The first one was funny, but I didn't particularly care for it too much. It was cute, just some things just struck me as things that belong in the odd category that I wouldn't want to see again for a while...^_^; The second one's rated PG, so obviously you'd have to expect a little somethin'-somethin' going on in it, Jordan, lol. Wow, that sentence made me sound ghetto--but it's true! I might consider seeing it when it comes out on video. Which won't be for a while...but I don't really care...>_<

Wait a minute, you saw the third Harry Potter movie already? I thought it was coming out in June!..."in theatres everywhere" my foot. =P Anyways, I am very anxious to see how the new director does this one, from the looks of it, it looks like it is a lot darker then the other two, and doesn't have a children's feel anymore (although, the new director might have been some of the reason of it becoming darker, the other half was the books). I am a bit concerned though, because I have noticed that when the original director gives the series to another one to continue, it seems to get worse. =\ Just look at the third Terminator movie, it was nothing compared to the second one. Oh well, from what you say, the new director did a better job then the original in bringing the book onto the big screen. :)

EDIT: OH!! You meant Shrek lol *whacks himself over the head* :p

Anyways, yeah, I think that the 2nd Shrek movie looks great! I like how in the trailer it shows Sleep Beauty getting out of the carriage, but then she just falls to the ground unconcious. XD

Shrek 2 looked ok, but it's the sort of movie I'd feel too old going too in the theater...I'll just have to wait for the DVD so I can watch it in peace without all the little toddler gremlins giggling and spreading disease in the theater around me...the original Shrek is one of the few movies that gets more tolerable every time I watch it...I didn't notice a lot of the humor the first and second time through...I think I was paying too much attention to the CG and all that...

*shrugs*
Suit yourself Chrystie! I'm glad I went and saw it!
Well, I really don't watch too much TV anymore, so I probably wouldn't of heard much about it, if it wasn't for the preview in the 'Home on the Range' movie. I was actually expecting to see it on friday....
Well, not all PG movies have that! Ice Age didn't, and neither did many others! It didn't really ruin the experience for me though....as you can obviously see hehe...

...huh?
Oh...no, not HP3 FlamingTorchic, hehe..
I was talking about Shrek 2!
I'm really curious too, though. This one is supposed to be the shortest of all of them, as of yet. This director is supposed to be pretty good, so hopefully it will be even better then the previous ones! Dumbledore is also played by another person, (It's a shame the original one passed away...) so I'm curious to see how he does too!

100marios: That's true, but I can't afford to wake up late on school days =P
Sayuri: I guess my family is also getting it on VCD too. It's better, since you pay less to let your whole family watch the show together. A VCD of, for example, Finding Nemo here should be worth close to 2 movie tickets and my family has about 4-5 people in it.

I don't see what's the big deal about Harry Potter. I think Harry Potter has the most boring and stupidest books/movies ever. Boring... :\

Now if you want to see a cool movie, you gotta see Star Wars Episode 3, which comes out to theaters exactly one year from today. It's going to be the best movie ever. :P There is even going to be another main character added to the plot, who is in my signature. I am a huge Star Wars fan. :D

Hmm, good point hehe...

The Harry Potter books were some of the best I've ever read! Though I can't say the same thing about the movies, they were still good!

Star Wars 3? Bah, nothing can dethrone the Return of the King! (pun intended hehe...)
I'm not all too impressed with the current Star Wars movies that came out. They were a little disappointing, in my opinion.

That's not General Grievous (sp?) in your sig is it? That's the only new Episode III character I can think of >_<

I have to admit, the new star wars movies are visually spectacular, but the stories aren't as good as the old ones...I must say Star Wars Episode II is my favorite Star Wars because of the scenes in the Geonosis Arena...so awesome... o_o;;

Star Wars: ..... (Like what 100marios has said...)
Harry Potter: I do agree that the book gets darker, but it's natural. The readers/audiences are getting older every time a book is released, but I was into Harry Potter only during the time the 5th book was released (Hopefully, it won't be too late).

btw, sorry but I want to comment on a post on the previous page:
