I think you'd make a good mod, everyone knows you (I think). 'Cept you'd have to crack down on people every once in a while *~* That's the part that would get me X,x;;

We got enough mods as it is. @.@

We should spread our mod base out, giving the current mods new forums before we start hiring even more. >.o

Might as well not hire anymore then. =\ Imo, our staff needs some training within itself, especially the higher staff with banning/unbanning powers.

Well, normal mods really don't need IP training. =/

Normal mods need training on where the tool are hidden. XD

Hmm, sounds like modding was tough for you at that time, whenever that was lol.
 
It?s not any easier when everyone whines about Jess all day and then he gets unbanned. Pfft, whatever. Let him screw up PC, won't be my fault.
 
I would have assumed that knowing at least the basic In's and Out's of IP addressing would have been a pre-requisite for modding.
Certainly has been the case at other forums I've been to.
Ah well. Crap happens I suppose.
As long as there's at least one or two who know the rules of IP, I'm content.
 
I'm getting the impression that Kairi didn't want Jess unbanned...

normal moderators cannot ban or do anything with the IP anyway... plus they can't even see the IP of anyone unless it's a post in their rightful forum, or via Stalking Window anyway. Maybe Smods should know, but not normal mods (as they can't do anything with IP...)

Okay, sorry, I'll try not to do that again lol. :P Everyone was whining? I only saw me myself and I whining/whatever to get Jess unbanned [almost] all day... =\

You dont need to be able to do anything with an IP to make use of it.
Just knowing a person's IP on a forum is power in itself.
Someone signs up another account to flame? Or uses another account to flame from, you can match the IP to their regular account.
The sooner you know about it, and can report it, the sooner something can be done about it.
It's not rocket science, either.

it's just you (that I know of)... and we argued with each other that entire night in DCC (and scared everyone away from the conversation in the meantime). Not... the most enjoyable time ever.

Whatever they say... if majority is to say that Jess should be forgiven... then... "I am content, sir."

I have a feeling that God soften Arcanine's heart to unban Jess just to test my tolerance level.


EDIT: and whatever you just said regarding IP, you lost me already...
 
Flamers will be banned nevertheless, and they can't be banned until an senior leader gets on anyways...
