Hopefully christmas? >< also hoping for a 3ds emulator hahahahaha. liek that'll happen. might just get a flash card if it comes down to it... too poor and don't game enough to get actual games...
 
Thinking of checking out the midnight release at GAmestop. Did it for GTA 5, might as well do it for Pokemon.

Yes.
Everyone is going off about how excited they are for tomorrow/tonight because of X/Y. I won't be able to get a 3DS or X/Y for 2-3 months. I really doubt I'll be able to avoid spoilers very well this entire time, but I'm going to try. (Hopefully I won't give in and find all of the information I can before playing the game.)

On the upside, at least I'll be able to play it eventually...probably. I kind of lost interest in Pokemon for a while, so hopefully Gen VI will revive the interest I have left. (I intend to get Y version solely because I prefer Yveltal over Xerneas [might've spelled the latter name wrong].)

omg emulatorrrs. I did this when the Japanese version of B/W came out before I got my hands on my White copy. Sucks there's no 3DS emulator right now, that would be greeeat.
 
Well guys, my game has been downloading from the e-shop for about and hour now and very little progress has been made. This is going to take a very long time, lmao and I am becoming so impatient.
 
I'm still torn on whether or not I want to head over into the city tomorrow and get it. I have some other errands I need to run if I do, but it's a matter of whether I feel like doing it in the morning or waiting since I'm there Sunday anyway.

I would go ahead and get if it I were you. The reason that I say that is, if you are planning on getting it anyways you might as well get it as early as possible so if you do in fact enjoy it as much as expected you will have more of the weekend to enjoy it.

It's more a question of "Do I really want to drive the 45-50 minutes each way to get it when I'm going to be there Sunday anyway?" I could get it done and run my errands in the morning and still be back before 12 though, so...I'm still debating.
 
I'm going to get my pre-order of Pokémon X in about an hour or soish, I wanted the Guidebook but it doesn't look like their shipments are coming in until next week. Ah well, can't have it all! I'm more focused on the games anyhow. ;p

Oh with a 50 minute drive each way then that would be a much tougher decision. I was under the impression that you were thinking of doing everything tomorrow instead of Sunday, but you couldn't decide. I still don't think that I would personally be able to wait, haha.
 
I'm going to go get pokemon X tomorrow, but I probably won't play it until later that night. I get to cheer on my old high school at a marching band competition. That should be fun, I'm interested to see how they are doing. Part of me wants them to completely blow the competition away, but a small part of me wants them to struggle without me. XD
 
I went to the Gamestop midnight release.

Finallly...after months of waiting...I finally possess that which has distracted me this whole week.
 
I had pre-ordered Pokémon Y on GameStop. Chose Y because I'm a bigger fan of Yveltal, and I also prefer all the MegaEvolutions that are available on Pokémon Y over those that are exclusive to X. :) My game was supposed to arrive at my house today, but for some reason, it didn't. I'll most likely get my hands on it tomorrow, though. If not, then I'll send them a phone call to see if they've made some sort of a shipping mistake.

I'm not exactly sure if I'll be getting Pokémon X as well, but if I decide to, then that'll be two or three months after I'm done with Y. Since I'm getting Pokémon Y physically, I'll probably get X as a digital download.
