Skype is really great to me. It is the best way for me to stay in contact with my friends here at PC because I don't text everyone and VMs can be a hassel, however Skype is so much easier and I am on it quite a bit.
 
Skype makes it much easier to stay in contact with your PC friends, I agree. We should all make a Skype chatroom one day, and allow everybody to join in. o: It should be a lot of fun. Skype chatrooms last forever (well, unless the owners delete them, of course), so that's a good thing. Whenever we log into our Skype, this would enable us to find all of our PC pals in one convenient place!

I just find it so much more convenient as it automatically opens when I turn on my computer so all I have to do is switch to online mode when I want to talk to someone.

I think I've added about 40 PC members now on Skype and I hope it will be a good way to stay in touch with some even after others and I have left this place.
 
Yeah...I don't want to go in-depth (or even sound perverted in any way), but tumblr was used to host a LOT of HQ pornographic images & gifs and people would reblog them for their own pleasure. And even the person reblogging that stuff says their blog is SFW, once you reblog that it's not really SFW anymore and that really bothers a lot of tumblr users who are trying to steer away from it or deleting their accounts because of it.

Thank goodness for the "filter" option. That saves us all.

EDIT: OH WOW I WASN'T AWARE THERE WAS A NEW PAGE GDI DCC.

i also have a skype guys, it's my main way of communication because screw social media and stuff :P it's on my profile if ya want it. xD

lol! I get so frustrated when the DCC doesn't take me to the current page XD
 
baha I get frustrated when any thread doesn't take me to the current pages. Especially in the forum game sections where making sure you're on the right page and posting the right thing is important for most games.

Ugh I hate how one of my sections is still 'trivia' and the other one is 'game'. I wish there could be some consistency without changing PT to Pokemon Forum Games because that's lame and long.

I never really understood why it was Pokemon Trivia because trivia to me is like questions and things like that XD. But yeah, Pokemon Forum Games would be really long 8(
 
That's why Other Trivia (other than taking 'Other' out of the game) was eventually changed to Forum Games haha. But Pokemon Trivia is stuck in that awkward that is still being called a 'trivia' section when its not really one and not wanting that dumb long name.

Buuut at least the PokeTrivia League has trivial quizzes and such in it from time to time. ♥
 
I really don't understand Social Media.
I use my Facebook for sometimes contact but pretty much as a central news station where the tech sites I liked share updates that they posted. Plus all my stuff is pretty much ignored. And the games, ugh. Google + is better with games. :3
I have a twitter to use it when I need to, but I don't like post updates.
Instagram and Snapchat are just horrible creations.
I have a tumblr, why.. I don't know. Don't go on it often if at all. Seems way to un organized. I just get my images from facebook, shared from tumblr. :P

I lurk my facebook and I don't really talk to people much on Skype either - generally speaking. I'm usually bouncing towards and away from my laptop so I always keep my status as "away" as I've upset people before when I've suddenly disappeared from the computer but left my status as available.
 
Social media is just "meh" to me these days.. there are times when I want to be active in social media and times when I don't want to be active in social media at all.. right now, it's one of those times where I prefer to be inactive since I'm mostly on PC these days whenever I browse the internet, and browsing PC keeps me far from being bored at this point in time.

That happens to me a lot, but most of time, it's when I visit DCC. xD I have no idea why it does that, though. Maybe it's some sort of a server-related bug? I'm able to fix this issue for a while whenever I clear my browser's cache, but it starts happening again after only a day or two.
 
It's hard to make posts on a thread that's moving fast for whatever reason :)
