I guess we should kill melody? I don't see any real leads yet, and tbh I think the clues would lead to the persons role not them. I'm going to wait until I go to bed to vote in case we get any more info out of someone.

I've watched the anime, and none of these hints pertain to characters. The hints given are meant to lead to players, not their roles.

It wouldn't make any sense for the hints to correspond with the roles either. If that were the case, we'd be chasing our own tails since we've got no clue as to whose who.​

Isn't that the point of a mafia game? That you don't know who has what role? I honestly don't see a problem with my hypothesis. If anything it has more logic to it than the clues pointing at the players. But then again I could be wrong. I'm just not letting go of this until one of these is proven to be false. I'm wiling to look at both sides, but I'm hesitant to rule this option out just because you don't agree with me. Feel free to argue but that's not getting us anywhere, and our time would be better spent analyzing the facts and other player's statements.

Also what's with the weird guy pics in your posts? Are you just using it as decoration?

This mafia game is very different than others, why even have an investigation phase if it means nothing.
That would be completely pointless in so many ways.

I mean seriously, why would we investigate and get clues based on the role of the killer when we have absolutely no idea as to whose who. The investigation phase would be completely pointless.
There may be some role hints thrown in, like the spears are a junko thing. But over all it's based on the players.

Well I'm of the opinion that

a) the hints probably point at all of the mafia members, tbqh

b) the hints should pertain to the roles. I just don't like it being that they relate to the users themselves, because canonically everyone is the character they've been assigned, not themselves. And figuring out which roles are evil is most certainly not useless. Generally when games wind down, people are forced to role reveal. As this is a small game, that point will come sooner rather than later. If we know which roles are evil, that means claiming those roles is no longer safe. The only role that this doesn't matter for is Junko, as that's unsafe to claim either way.

First, when did I say the spears weren't the murder weapon? I might've; I just can't recall and/or find such an instance.

I doubt the GM would allow roles like chihiro, sakura and kirigiri to role claim. So that still doesn't make sense.
