Darkness.... that is all there was... He could hear screams coming from every where. He walked toward the sounds. After what felt like ten hours of walking, he arrived as he looked on as a shadow figure with the same aura as he had when pure power was active, but it was much more evil looking. Not only that, the figure was destroying everything around it. Human, Pokemon, hybrids.... it didn't matter the power destroyed everything.
Shadow watched in horror as he saw the evil figure looking down on the man who had attacked Tulip and Eevee with the metal bat in his hand. But... unlike him, the shadow figure brought down the bat on the man and blood splattered everywhere. The image disappeared only to be replaced by images of the friends he had thought he had made today burned, but not by fire, it was caused by darkness.
"No.... no...."
The shadow figure turned on him and he was shocked. The shadow figure was him. He was looking at himself. Shadow's knees buckled as he made a face that signaled that he was terrified. Images of Team Rocket flooded his vision as the evil self laughed. He saw his sister crying in pain, burning because Team Rocket tried to make her fire proof. She passed, but then they forced poison on to her and he watched as she suffered more. He watched as she collapsed into his arms and died. The image disappeared and the dark self engulfed him, laughing.

"No!" Shadow sprung awake.
He saw Lucario jump forward.
'Cario! Car car Cario!' Lucario was ready to fight.
Shadow was breathing hard as sweat beaded his forehead. The wind whistled the air as he caught the scent of some sweet scent from a pokemon somewhere in the park. He looked around, most of the park was empty. There was one or two people still in the park walking around, but they didn't seem to notice his outburst. He looked up in the sky and noticed it had started to get later.
"Relax Lucario. It was just a dream. Sorry to frighten you." Shadow said as he fell back to the ground up against the tree on purpose.
Lucario nodded and sat beside him. The wind picked up and suddenly a small cry from above rang out. Shadow look up and what looked like an acorn falling, turned out to be a seedot. Shadow knew he wouldn't move in time. Not just waking up.
"Well... this is gonna hurt." Shadow said as the seedot crashed into his face.
Shadow yelled in pain and frightened Lucario again who jumped up hitting his head on a lower branch and fell back down on the ground. Shadow started laughing at his Lucario, even though it hurt.
'Lucarion Cario Cario!' Lucario said in anger.
"I didn't do it on purpose! I just got hit in the freaking face by a Seedot!" Shadow yelled, with some laughter still in his voice.
Lucario crossed its arms and went back to closing its eyes. Shadow looked down the Seedot as it blinked its eyes.
'Seedot?' The Seedot turned its head slightly.
"Hello there little guys. Where is the rest of your family?"
'Seedot...' The Seedot looked down.
"Oh, you are alone then?" Shadow asked.
'Dot.' The Seedot sounded like it was saying yes.
Shadow thought about catching the little acorn pokemon, but he hadn't made a profile for PC depositing yet. Shadow picked up the little acorn pokemon and put him off to the side. He gently put a hand on the little acorn pokemon.
"Mister!" A voice called.
'Cario...' Lucario sighed.
Shadow smiled at Lucario who was getting annoyed with interruptions. He watched as a little boy of about ten years of age ran to him.
"Hello there." Shadow said.
"Mister! Mister! Can I have a battle please!? I just started my journey and I have been wanting to have a battle! But... But everyone looks too scary! But.... but you don't! Can we have a battle!? Please!" The little be jumped up and down.
Shadow smiled, "Sure why not. What type of pokemon do you have?"
"A Pichu sir!"
"Very well, I will battle you in a 1 on 1 battle and I will use my Noibat."
"A Noibat!? Wow! You must travel a lot to have a Noibat here!"
Shadow pulled out his poke ball and let Noibat out. The battle occurred for about five minutes. During the battle, the boy at made many successful attacks, but Noibat was too power full.
"Come on Pichu! You can do it!" The boy yelled, but it fell back down.
"Pichu is too weak to continue. He should rest." Shadow walked over to the pichu who was breathing hard.
"Is Pichu ok!? I am sorry Pichu! I pushed you too hard."
"Don't worry." Shadow reached for his pack, he brought out the potion that Arryn have given him that morning and sprayed Pichu. Pichu perked up. Shadow then withdrew a oran berry, "Here you go. It this oran berry. It will help you recover as well."
The Pichu accepted iand started to eating.
"Thank you sir. For the good battle." The boy said as he picked up his Pichu.
Noibat started to glow and before their eyes and evolved into a Noivern and screeched.
"Wow! Noibat evolved into a Noivern! It is so cool! I am going to catch one one day!"
Noivern smiled. It was now almost the height of Shadow.
"Head to the pokemon center and get Pichu checked out just to be safe. Then head home, I guess it might be getting dark soon."
"Yes sir!" The boy smiled as he ran off.
Shadow returned his pokemon to the poke ball and noticed the Seedot was still there. Acting like he wanted to return to a poke ball.
"I'm sorry little guy. I don't have room." Shadow said.
'Seedot...' The little Seedot looked like it was about to cry.
Shadow went over and picked up Seedot, "How about you come with me for now. Maybe I can find you a trainer or I can set up a PC account at the Pokemon Center. What do you say?"
'Seedot!!'
Shadow carried the Seedot off toward the pokemon center.
