"Tch, how graceful," Val commented sarcastically as she heard the thud and glanced over to see a female with her face to the ground. As Gray turned his attention from her to the interrupting female, she slowly rose to her feet. Hearing his words of 'have Val handle you' she glanced again at the female, eyes narrowing. It seemed that Gray had accepted her services. She spun her sword a few times before sliding it back into it's sheath. "Anything you wish, Master. After all I've done for Rocket, I'm used to disposing of people who've failed tasks much more mundane." She was almost tempted to add that he should feel free to sic her on anyone he wanted, but seeing as how she'd already told him 'anything you wish' she figured he'd be smart enough to know that that counted as 'anything'. She silently took a few steps, moving to stand just behind Gray and slightly to the right, her feet making absolutely no sound against the icy floor of the cavern.

Pokemon
Spoiler:

"Don't sweat it, Brian," "To set the ground rules: no going off on your own without speaking up," "If you have a problem with someone in the group, talk it through. Don't rely on the heat of the moment and your basic impulses."
He blinked, thinking about that, they were part pokemon now. That might make them have an impulse to fight, rather than talk out their problems. He realized that he should tell them about... No, they didn't need to know, at least not yet. He was about to reply when Shadow cut him off, not on purpose but Brian did't know that.
"Excuse us for a moment Brian." Shadow said, slightly pulling Arryn off to the side where no one could hear them.
Brian wanted to walk over there himself, but he knew it was too risky. He bent over and handed his c-gear to his sylveon, casually petting him as he whispered in his sylveon's ear. "Go over there and record their conversation, I want to hear what they're saying about me." To Brian it looked like they had walked away to discuss whether to trust him or not. He walked over towards a tree and slouched down against the trunk to take a nap, his fennekin curling up in his lap. He needed the rest after all he went through.
After a while his sylveon returned, almost at the same time Arryn turned around to walk back over. It was a close call, he had no idea if she would be mad at him for spying on them. When she walked far enough away he turned on the c-gear and started the recording."
"Arryn, this probably isn't the best time, but I need to take a trip to the Ice Cave. But it is not to get away from the group... ok maybe slightly... but my main motive is to find an ice stone to evolve Eevee, Eevee should be ready to evolve now." Shadow waited a moment and then continued, "I also have to do something about us getting thrown out. I want to see if I can talk to the Guardians of the Haven to allow us back in. If not us, then at least Lydia. She risked everything to protect us and I did nothing to try to calm the situation. If I hadn't told everyone to do what they wanted, if I had stepped up to the plate and taken control... none of this would have happened. Making Gray leave was also my fault... I have to at least try to do something right for the group. If it means leaving the Haven myself to allow everyone to stay safe... I will do it."
There was a long pause, then Arryn replied.
"I can handle things here while you're gone.""Do what you have to do. I'll try and keep the group together."
Listening to their conversation would be one thing if they were talking about him, but they weren't and that made him feel guilty. He deleted the rest of the recording. "I'm going for a walk!" He yelled. He felt much better after his nap, even if it was a short one.
He walked along the edge of the forest, crunching sticks under his feet. His fennekin would follow behind and munch at the broken sticks like they were candy. He started to smile, he loved going for walks. He reached down and picked up a rock and thew it at a tree, it hit through the leaves and collided with something. He glanced up, it didn't make a loud thunk like it normally did when it hit the trunk. He walked over to the tree and spotted a pidgey laying on the ground. "Oh please no!" He said, he had hit the pidgey with the rock. It lay on the ground with what looked like a broken wing.
"I'm so sorry!" He scooped it up, sprinting back to the others. They weren't far, he knew they wouldn't let him run off so he stayed within sight of them. He yelled "We need first aid!" he hugged the pidgey close as he ran, a strange pink light emanating from his hands engulfed the pidgey. The pink light healed the wound and fixed the wing. But Brian didn't know he could do that, he kept running as fast as he could. "Help!" he yelled "This pidgey is hurt and it's all my fault!" He was completely oblivious to the fact that the pokemon was completely fine, the only reason why it stayed was because it was fascinated by the fact that the creature that hurt it was trying to save it's life.
ooc/edit: Changed hoothoot to pidgey

Lydia

Lydia finished washing herself while listening to Deacon talk. She was quiet as she listened to his words, and was considering her response when the sounds of a dragon's wings flapping filled her ears. Looking in the direction of the noise she saw a dragon with someone on its back flying away. Shaking her head she finished washing herself off. Why did he not wait for her response? He had just said said something then a minute later ran off. Perhaps he thought her silence was an answer. She stepped out of the small pond that was fed by the spring that she was washing in. Once she had shaken off as much water off her body as she could, she took a nearby flower and carefully took off some petals and rubbed their scent on her body while healing the flower with her powers.

Taking the supplies that had been teleported to her she realized Aerith had not sent one of her yellow and purple clothes sets. Instead it was the druid like clothing set her mentor had given her a month before his death. She didn't feel ready to wear these clothes yet, but she had no options other than wearing her old dirty clothes. She quickly put on the green and brown with gold decoration garb and looked in the pond at her reflection. She looked matured in these clothes, and more like a noble forest dwelling druid or elf from a story book.

Shaking her head she grabbed the staff in her right hand and the books in her left, and started to walk back to the group. Right as she reappeared in sight of Shadow and Arryn, Shadow walked up to her and requested for her to teleport him back to the Haven so he could try in repair the damage.

Deciding to save the little energy she had, Lydia nodded her head in response as she searched for somewhere to put her books. She found and carefully placed the books in a pouch built into her belt on her left side. She then began focusing her remaining energy and a portal slowly started to open as Brian came running back with the Pokemon in his arms. Lydia did not have the energy anymore to heal the Pokemon, or reopen the portal if she dropped focus now. Once Brian got next to her, the portal stabilized as Aerith held it open on the other side. Motioning for Shadow to enter the portal Lydia glanced at Brian and the owl like Pokemon.

She then stepped through the portal after Shadow, while telepathically whispering to Brian, "Settle down I see no wounds on it and its not suffering from any pain." By the time the last word entered the boy's mind, Lydia had disappeared through the portal.

Coming out on the other side Lydia was standing in front of her home where she had left. Aerith allowed the portal to collapse and then just stood in place quietly. Masumi looked over at the two Hybrids and let out a huffing sound. The Ninetails was further away sunbathing while her kits played with her tails. The Vulpix that had been sleeping in Lydia's hut darted over to the two Hybrids and began cautiously sniffing Shadow before running over to the tired Lydia and began bouncing around her legs joyfully. Lydia was having to lean against her staff to keep standing due to her fatigue at this point.

Delysia - Mt. Silver

"Tch, how graceful." Delysia's face flushed red and hot at the strange warrior girl's comment. She felt like she shouldn't have been embarrassed, especially in front of someone she didn't know, but she couldn't help it. Before she could come up with some retort the man said, "... Ah, So you're the one who's been following me... I noticed you after you knocked down that boulder a ways back. I didn't think there would be anybody else but me. Judging by how you followed me, you seem to be familiar with the mountain's interior lay out..." He thought for a moment, then nodded to himself as he came to a decision. "I want you to show me where the strongest Pokemon might be... If you fail... I'll have Val handle you."

Delysia actually gaped at the guy. He had to be kidding, right? The sheer arrogance pissed her off! Not only the fact that he assumed that he could do whatever he wanted just because he had some perverted lackey, but also that he refused to even deal with her himself, as if she was beneath him. Her rage built until she spoke, her voice dripping with hostility, "If you think that I'm going to take orders from the likes of you, you're dead wrong. I get it, I was in the wrong following you. But I refuse to be your little slave guiding you up and down this blasted mountain." She was throwing caution to the wind and she knew it. He seemed like the wrong kind of person to piss off, but she was feeling equally pissed off.

She put a confident smirk on her face, "Tell you what pretty boy. When your done hiding behind your valkyrie girlfriend, why don't you face me yourself. I'll give you some nice scars to go along with those tattoos." She slid her hatchet out of its sheath on the back of her pack and pulled her knife from her belt. The blades glinted with a sinister light in the dim gloom of the cavern, and the slight purple tinge of a poisonous glow radiated softly from the blades as well. She knew she very well might be going to her death here. But she didn't care. This guy had given her disrespect, and that was one thing she would not tolerate.

Pokemon
Spoiler:

"Settle down I see no wounds on it and its not suffering from any pain."
What? Brian looked down, his hands were glowing! And even more shocking was that the bird was healed. "How did I?" He was overjoyed "Well I'm glad you're all better now little guy!"
Brian opened his arms, letting the bird test out its wings. It flew in circles around his head, he giggled. His fennekin started chasing it and it dipped and dived, enjoying playing with his pokemon. He watched it land on the ground and froze as he saw a beedrill diving straight for it. "Look out!" he yelled, just as the pidgey turned and used whirlwind and sent the beedrill spinning in the other direction. "Wow, great job!" Brian said hugging the pokemon. Just then something extraordinary happened.
The pidgey glowed with a bright white light, it's wings elongating as it more than tripled in size. It was evolving!
He stared at the pokemon in wonder. When it finished it's transformation it cawed and flew next to him. "Do you want to come with us?" He asked. It cawed in agreement. "Well then welcome to our family!" He said as he hugged it close.

Shadow:

With no words spoken, Lydia opened a portal up to the Haven and they both walked through. Shadow noticed that Lydia looked even more like an elf now in her druid like clothing. He heard Brian call for help, but he was positive that everything would be ok. They both appeared in the Haven, Shadow looked around as it felt like all pokemon eyes fell on him and Lydia. The portal collapsed and they were now alone with all the pokemon. The vulpix that had been sleeping had darted over to Shadow and started to sniff him. Shadow didn't make any sudden moves, he didn't wish to startle the pokemon. After a moment, the little fox ran over to Lydia. Shadow could tell she was tired.

"Thank you Lydia. Just rest for now." Shadow said as he walked over to the portal keeping Xatu, that he recalled being called Aerith by Lydia.

"Aerith, let me start off by sincerely apologizing for what had happened. The one known as Deacon did not mean to break the rules. There was no time to tell him as we were being attacked by people because we are hybrids. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't have done what he did. Rex, the big one, acted rashly, but he thought Deacon was going to be attacked. The one know as Deacon and even little boy known as Brian broke their pokeballs to apologize." Shadow said, as he calmly walked around for a moment to try to figure out what to say next.

"I understand your rules. I understand that they must be followed and I understand your reasoning. But not all trainers are the same. There are some terrible people out there. But where there is bad, there is good. Not all trainers are the same and all of our pokemon love us. Before we came here, I questioned if I could lead. I questioned if I was a good trainer. I gave my pokemon a choice, and four of the seven left even though I know we were friends. The three pokemon who remain with me, chose to stay by my side. My friend, Lucario, even told me how the inside of a poke ball was. How it was like a miniature world and the interior was like a house for pokemon. Pokemon could communicate with each other, regardless of who they were. It was like a whole new world, one that sounds much better than the world we live in." Shadow said.

Shadow turned and looked at the Xatu, "I know we broke your rules, but please, I beg of you. Let my friends stay here. Arryn, Tulip, Rex, Deacon, Brian, Lydia, and even Orchird. We are being hunted down every second of our lives because of what we are. Don't blame them when everything was my fault for failing as a leader. We need a place to stay, at least for a while. If you wish for someone to be exiled, then let it be me. Let my friends stay here and I will leave. I want to keep everyone safe especially Arryn and Tulip. And if no one, then please please please don't punish Lydia for anything and let her return at least. She has done nothing, but care for the Haven. Don't punish her for the actions of others. Just like you don't have to punish all trainers for the action of other trainers." Shadow finished.

And wish that, all three of Shadow's pokemon came out. Lucario... Noivern.... Eevee. Eevee crawled up Shadow's body and licked him in the face. Lucario crossed its arms and nodded. Noivern smiled and looked like it did a little dance.

"Me and my pokemon are friends. I do not treat them as tools, nor will I ever treat them as tools. Please give us the benefit of the doubt and allow us to stay. If something else happens, punish me, not the others." Shadow said, petting his Eevee on the head and looking side to side at his Noivern and Lucario.

Deacon Masterson

Deacon flew on Hydreigon and continued northward in Kanto to the top of the region to a mountain range that rivaled even Mt. Silver. Not many people knew about it, and not many people lived here as it was impossible to reach by foot. South of the mountain range was thousands of miles of forest and thick trees that would make it impossible to get to on foot. Modern technology wasn't enough to get rid of these trees as the trees, shrubbery, thorns, and bushes as they had been there for centuries. Deacon was in the air for awhile before the towering mountains came into view. Deacon then spotted the old cottage his family used to live in before they were killed in the distance behind one of the mountains. He continued on until he landed with his Hydreigon outside the house on a stone path that was created long ago by Deacon's ancestors. The view from his house and garden was amazing, and gave a complete view of the village that was created below the mountain his house was on was called the Village of Dragons. Only about 30-50 people lived there and it's where Deacon first befriended most of his Dragon Pokemon and went to the academy for Dragon trainers there when he was little. Never before had he thought he would be part Dragon type though.

Deacon hugged his Hydreigon and tossed it a snack of berries that it ate out of the air in one bite. "I love you, buddy." Deacon said to his Hydreigon as he nuzzled its head in his arms. Hydreigon let out a roar that it enjoyed its trainer company. "I'll be back in a bit. Stay here, please." Deacon told his Pokemon. Deacon walked up the stone path to his house, opened the door, and went inside. It was dark, and cold. No one had lived here for awhile except Deacon, and he didn't visit this cottage that often. Deacon sighed and left the lights off walking around the house taking in old memories. (Cue Pokemon BW music Emotion right here). Deacon walked up to the living room and picked up a photo of his family and him, sighing again. He put his hand on his head and massaged his temples, thinking. "I have to get stronger to protect my friends. But how? How can I do that?" Deacon thought to himself. He went to the pantry and found it was empty. Figures. Deacon then walked to his own room and looked at how messy it was. He began to clean it since he hadn't so long, and after awhile it looked straightened.

Deacon walked outside his cottage, shut the door and locked it when he was done revisiting his past. He wanted closure with his life before becoming a hybrid, and now he had it. "Still though. I feel like everyone in the group is mad at me. I need to become stronger, I must become STRONGER!" Deacon thought. He roared as a flock of bird Pokemon flew away and his body began charging its self to its full limits. "If I can survive this fall, then I must be strong enough to protect them!" Deacon thought aloud this time. Hydreigon woke up from its cat nap and tried to stop him, but it was too late. Deacon was, in other terms, about to take his life. Deacon began running to the edge of the cliff and jumped off with thousands of feet still below him. "I must become stronger! I can do this! I CAN do this!" Deacon thought aloud. "Ah, I can't do this!" Deacon's body was soaring towards the ground. Hydreigon flew beside him trying to help him out, but Deacon swatted him away. At that moment in time Deacon released an ability he never knew of before. His body began going under mutation as his eyes turned pitch black and he bellowed while falling. Two giant black angel wings began to grow out of his back until they stood out at each end of him, ready for use. Deacon was about to hit the ground, but his newly found wings he used to catch himself and flew back higher into the air. "Yes! Hydreigon! You know what this means right?? I can fly just like you! This is going to be so awesome! Wait till we show the others!!" Deacon laughed happily as he flew through the air at lightning speeds south back to the edge of the forest the group was in with Hydreigon flying beside him. Hydreigon was surprised at Deacon's knew found ability to fly, but knew it would happen eventually since Team Rocket had used Hydreigon's DNA to give Deacon his typing. Once they found the group from overhead Deacon descended as well as Hydreigon until he touched his feet to the ground and his wings retracted behind his back. Hydreigon landed too and went to hangout with Deacon's other five Pokemon. "Hey guys! Bet you didn't know I could do that! Neither did I! Now I can truly be free and soar through the winds when I felt like it! Haha!" Deacon's new personality wasn't as dark and sad as before, and his demeanor sounded like someone who was content with their self. "Just wait until others like Jack Frost try to attack us again! They won't know what hit them!" Deacon thought to himself.

Deacon Masterson: Hybrid Trainer Typing Change:
Dark/Dragon/Flying
New Moves learned: Fly, Acrobatics
Total movepool: Hone Claws, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Dragon Tail, Fly, and Acrobatics
Trainer Mood: New found freedom discovered in the skies!
New Appearance: Not much has changed from his original appearance, except now he has two small black colored dark angel wings that retract behind his back when he's on the ground and extend when he's in the air to about five feet away from him on each side. They aren't noticeable when they're retracted, but they're a spectacle freak mutation of DNA to look at when open :)

Val rose a brow as she listened to this spying female's indignation at Gray's words. To her, it had seemed a reasonable request, and nothing to get upset about. Sure, Gray could have been a little more polite about it, but it wasn't like she had to go on about 'not being his little slave' or anything. Her hand came to rest on the hilt of her sword, eyes narrowing as she eyed the other female, just waiting for Gray's command. "Girlfriend?" she repeated in a low voice. "Tch, I'll have you know, I tried to kill him earlier. Not exactly 'lover' behavior. Now then...' Her grip on the sword hilt tightened a little, a few centimeters of steel glinting dully in the low light of the cave as she slid the blade a little out of its sheath, her gaze switching to Gray. Should he command the attack that had been mentioned in his words to the spying female, she'd be ready to jump forward. Should he decide to either ignore or take on the girl himself, she'd release the hilt and settle down a little to watch. She seriously doubted that this unknown female would be strong enough -- Val was by no means weak, and Gray had not taken many hits before killing her -- to win a battle against either of them. The Normal and Ghost type hybrid had the great advantage of technically being dead.

Spoiler:

Brian was curious as to how well his pigeotto could fly with him on its back. "Do you think you could carry me while flying?" he asked, his pidgeotto replied by chirping and flapping its wings. "Okay let's try it!" He hopped on its back, pulled his goggles over his eyes, and hugged it tight. It flapped its wings and then took off, flying above the trees, somersaulting and diving through the air. Brian's hair flew wildly, he cheered "Wooohooo!" It landed, chirping happily as Brian stroked its head.

Brian looked over and saw Arryn looking up in the trees, he walked over to her. "Hey, What are you looking for?" He asked. He really wanted to go flying further away, but he needed an excuse. Then he remembered that one of the leaders of their group was named Gray, he didn't see any boys left around. "Where's that guy named Gray? I don't see any other guys I haven't met. Can we go fly and meet him, I have a pidgeotto now! He's great and loves to fly, so I wanted to take him for a long trip to test his endurance."

Lydia

The Samurott and Xatu listened to Shadow, but only the Xatu would respond using a weaker form of telepathy its voice was like a whisper, "You talk like the others, you do not understand what the connection truly is between a trainer and their Pokemon. You assume all Pokemon are the same, but we are not. What you think is friendship often is a lie told to you by your kind. Friends are equals, but trainers and pokemon are not equals. You decide whether a Pokemon is in this world or the fake one you created for us. You often call us when you need us and then tuck us away when we are unneeded. How often have you been beckoned to help one of your "friends" when they are struggling? Do you even know when they are struggling when you have them encased in that fake world?"

I know what that world is like more than you, as do the other Guardians you see here. You do not need to try to justify its existence to us. You say it sounds wonderful yet you do not go there. It sounds like a wonderful place for a human perhaps, but that is because you created it in your own ideals of wonderful. This forest… with open skies, tall trees, and fresh air is my ideal of a wonderful home, yet in this fake utopia my world was a small stuffy house like the rest. To me those walls were a sick reminder that my life was in complete control of another. Yes we can communicate with others, but its not the same as communicating in this world. Especially for those separated from their families. A mother trying to call out to her young, or siblings to each other this communication is not enough.

To you the Pokemon that left you were friends, but if they do not return were they really? Or were they just being nice to their master in the vain hope of better treatment? They left you, they did not want to be with you. They did not want to be your servants. They wanted their freedom from your control, and when you offered it they left. I doubt they were your friends, but I do applaud you for letting them leave. You are on the right path, and I see hope in you once you can dispel the lies that cloud your vision.

Shadow, you are a Hybrid… a mix of both human and Pokemon. A unique position where you can bridge the gaps between our two kind that has been torn apart by humanity's lust for power and control. If you truly want to be your Pokemon's friends do not return them to their balls. Seek to understand who they are. Determine if their level of intelligence, their hopes, their dreams, and most of all discover how THEY think of you and not how you think they think of you. Friend might not define the relationship that you have with them. Three stayed with you, but why did they stay with you? Are you a friend? A comrade in arms? A parent? A mentor? A protector? A brother perhaps?

Shadow in relation to your Pokemon stop talking… stop assuming. Listen, seek to understand them all. Allow them to shape their own futures and not shape their futures around yours. The first challenge I have for you is for you to discover what your Eevee wants to be, and allow it to evolve into that form instead of what you want."

Aerith's head turned toward Lydia as the Pokemon spoke, "The only one who is not welcomed back here is the one that attacked, but if they come and seek forgiveness of Masumi. He may grant it and then the one you called Rex will be allowed to rest here. The other listened and followed our rules when he destroyed his Pokeballs the guardians have no ill will against him. However for you all to return the one you need to talk to is Lydia. It was her decision to teleport the group away and she is the one who has to decide to allow you back… not ours."

Lydia looked at Shadow as she said, "I am sorry Shadow, but I only trust you and Arryn. I do not trust the group. Trust does not come from being a fellow Hybrid, it comes from one's character. My deepest scars were inflicted by a Hybrid, and from that I have learned that you must only trust others through their actions.

I am not part of your group because my objectives are different than yours. I do not fight a world because it hunts and rejects me. I seek to find balance, to help good prevail, not just the "good" for a group of people like myself. The group is filled with those who lash out with violence first without regard for the damage they might be doing, but I understand that comes from the pain we all share. I feel like the group should be trying to help each other control heal that pain, instead of helping it cause more damage. The Haven's peace is not perfect and I fear the violent nature of everyone within the group will destroy it.

Also I cannot understand is why you accept the woman who tried to kill Arryn and assaulted me for little to no reason. She is dangerous, a poison, and the groups acceptance of her simply because she is one of us was like a knife in the heart, and not just to me. I have come to realize that the group, if it continues on its current course could turn into a monster more evil than the one that currently hunts it. For that reason alone, I will not welcome the group back. Individuals may come, but I will determine who is allowed. I made the mistake of accepting you all once and if I had not acted quickly the Haven would have been destroyed as well as your friends. The truth I believe is many of them are not ready for peace. They want conflict and they will bring it with them no matter where they go.

I was never exiled, I chose to leave because I feel the need to try in help your group. My sorrow is the realization that because I need to take this path I will likely never see the Haven again, and my peaceful life will turn into one of pain and suffering. It is also anger at your group for their weakness and violence they display. I will be honest with you, I am afraid of your group, but I feel the need to try in help it."

Shadow:

Shadow listened to everything that was said. It annoyed him greatly about how the pokemon thought. Accusing him of not knowing his pokemon. Shadow looked over and saw four pokemon walking toward him. The ones he had released. His eyes watered as they smiled at him and waved.

"Tell me, if I didn't know my pokemon, why would they come back to help me prove that I know my pokemon." Shadow pointed as Duoblade, Greninja, Vibrava, and Seedot came over to him and stood next to him.

"My pokemon left because the pokemon of the forest needed more protection, not because they didn't like me. I promised this little seedot I would help find him a new home and I did. You say all pokemon are not the same. The same goes for everyone. I see everyone as a equal. Even my pokemon. I saved this little Eevee from to people who were beating it. Hell it is only about a week old. It wouldn't have survived on it's own. Not in a city like Saffron. I met Lucario when I first got away from Team Rocket. I thought I was alone, but Lucario showed me otherwise and we agreed to travel together. I raised Noibat from when it had a broken wing. I helped it recover and in return it wanted to come along with me. Greninja, Duoblade, and Vibrava all have similar stories. They left so they could help the forest from the encroaching darkness that all of us must work together to bring balance." Shadow said as he hugged all of his past and present pokemon.

"People are evil. People are good. Pokemon are evil. Pokemon are good. That is the way the universe is. You know that." Shadow finished as he walked away for a moment.

"I don't like Orchird, however, something keep Tulip connected to her. If I send Orchird off, it is like sending Tulip off. The two are connected. People can change." Shadow said looking up in the sky.

"Everyone deserves trusting unless something happens to throw that trust away. But I do understand. I lost my sister twice. And now for some reason I can produce blue flames and I don't even know a pokemon who can do that. There is a constant war raging inside. I don't know if I can lead, but Gray can't lead either. And I don't think Arryn can do it alone. It is like we are playing around with truths and ideals and that the stake is the world." Shadow looked around at all the pokemon.

"I will change this world. I will bring everyone together one way or another. And balance will return. Poke balls are not traps. They are homes to keep your pokemon safe when weak. My pokemon choose to go in and out as the please. I call them out to have fun. But if I think it is too dangerous, I keep them in. Your own opinion makes you blind to mine. It makes you think everything about a pokemon trainer is evil. At least that is the way it seems to me. When someone can't accept truths and ideals together without fighting, balance will never truly come to this world." Shadow rested his eyes on Lydia.

"I cannot allow the group to stay where they are not welcomed. I do not know where we will go, but it is obvious we cannot stay here. Greninja, Seedot, Vibrava, Duoblade. Protect the forests as best as you can. We may see each other again." Shadow said to his pokemon.

His past pokemon nodded and they all walked up to him and gave him some form of friendly hug. Shadow then turned to his current pokemon.

"Lucario, Eevee, Noivern, do you still wish to travel with me? Do you mind being in pokeballs? Do you understand the purpose of them?" Shadow asked.

They nodded, indicating that they were going to continue to stay with Shadow. Shadow smiled.

And finally he turned to Lydia, "Lydia, I want you to stay with the group, but I cannot guarantee your teachings will sink in. But for the world to become balanced, we need someone with a different point of view on things. I think you would find the one named N, is very much like you, but he accepted other truths and ideals that were not his own. And as long as Tulip is in the group, Orchird will remain. But I give you my word, I will end her if she pulls ANYTHING like she did to us again. But right now, she shows no more evil and we must learn to forgive and forget if balance is to win."

"If you wish to return to the group, you can go ahead. But I must take my next steps for the day on my own. Funny how so much can change in a day's time period." Shadow said as his pokemon returned to their pokeballs on their own, other than Noivern who was getting ready for Shadow to climb aboard.

Tulip giggled and fixed her hair and skipped over to Brian who was talking to Arryn. This annoyed the hell out of her but she let it go.

She tapped Brians shoulder.

"Hi there love. I'm Tulip, you're new around here... I know I cute, or new face when I see you." she said smiling softly.

Orchid rolled her eyes at Tulip hitting on the little boy. She walked over to them and shoved Tulip a little.

"Gag me. And how old are you anyways? 10?" She sneered crossing her arms.

"Will you fuck off?" Tulip whispered, pushing her away.

"Sorry, thats Orchid shes my um, sister. Shes annoying. Ignore her. Please? Anyways, Uh what was your name?" she asked twirling a little piece of hair.

After being shoved by Tulip, Orchid crept behind Arryn.

"You and Shadow are great parents." she said with a smirk.

Spoiler:

Brian was startled when someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and saw a girl standing there.

"Hi there love. I'm Tulip, you're new around here... I know I cute, or new face when I see you." she said smiling softly.

"I, um I." He stammered. Just then another girl walked up behind her and pushed her. That made Brian instantly dislike her. Who did she think she was pushing someone like that?

"Gag me. And how old are you anyways? 10?" She sneered crossing her arms.

"N n no I " he said quietly, almost too quiet to hear.

"Sorry, thats Orchid shes my um, sister. Shes annoying. Ignore her. Please? Anyways, Uh what was your name?" she asked twirling a little piece of hair

"You and Shadow are great parents." The other girl said with a smirk.

Brian seethed. "Who are you thinking you can just insult people and try to sabotage them and get away with it?! I for one find that extremely repulsive and mean!" Brian exploded his words out as his anger started to show. "I was starting to get used to this group but if you're in it then I'm going to have to rethink joining!" His hands caught fire as he spoke, his face crumpled in anger. "Why did you think sabotaging your sister's flirting, which I was uncomfortable with in the first place, would benefit you at all!" He was yelling now, his hands ready to strangle her. He knew he needed to stop, he remembered what Arryn told him. I can't fight now, he thought but I will never be friends with her.

Orchid

Orchid was beyond confused when the boy started to yell at her.

"Who are you thinking you can just insult people and try to sabotage them and get away with it?! I for one find that extremely repulsive and mean! I was starting to get used to this group but if you're in it then I'm going to have to rethink joining! Why did you think sabotaging your sister's flirting, which I was uncomfortable with in the first place, would benefit you at all!"

"Im just a bitch what can I say? But I like you kid. Ill leave you alone." She said smirking. He just yelled at her, the pyrotechnics were a perfect touch.

Why did you think sabotaging your sister's flirting, which I was uncomfortable with in the first place

That phrase kept ringing in Tulips head. Her eyes started to water, and she sniffled running away.

W-what about me is so replusive...? she took a deep breath after she was pretty far away.

She collapsed to the ground and started crying, her powers and emotions felt so much more powerful. Her tears fell into the dirt and little blue flowers began to appear. Tulip has never seen flowers like this, they looked so sad and they were from her tears... Odd.

"Oh nice job. You made a pretty girl cry. Nice work. Are you gonna go after her or am I?" Orchid asked crossing her arms.

Brian froze. Did I just say that? He felt so bad. It wasn't that she wasn't pretty or anything, she probably felt like he rejected her. He had to apologize, but that would require spilling his deepest secret. He didn't want to do that, but it looked like he would have to if he wanted to make her feel better. He started to cry, he had insulted someone on accident and then failed to insult the one he was angry at.
He shakily turned away and walked towards Tulip, Ignoring Orchid in the process. He sat down next to her. "Hey" he said softly, "I, Just wanted to apologize for hurting your feelings. It came out wrong, I." He stopped, should he tell her? Would she keep it a secret? It didn't matter, he needed to tell someone and she needed to know that it wasn't her fault that he didn't like her. "I have a secret, I need to tell you so you know it's not your fault. I, I." He was nervous, "I'm" He couldn't get it out. "I'm gay" He finally said. "It's not that you're not pretty or nice, I just don't like girls like that." He felt embarrassed, his face was turning red and tears still stung his eyes. "Please don't tell anyone else." He pleaded. "My life is weird enough as it is. He struggled to stand up, then he stopped and turned around to face her. "Please?"

Arryn; Ice & Dark

Arryn sits cross legged on the grass, attempting to fashion a necklace out of vines and the stems of flowers. It was difficult and by far the most tedious task she set herself to, to date.

Her attention drifted to Tulip, Brian and Orchid. She stood, just in case it got out of hand - I promised Shadow I would handle this group.

Orchid creeps out of sight and Arryn flinches as her voice sounds directly behind her - "You and Shadow are great parents."

Smirking wickedly, Orchid waits expectantly. She wants me to pounce, to start something that she can finish.

"How would you know? You didn't have any." Neither does Arryn and honestly, it's not an insult. It is a genuine fact. The bitch somehow split from Tulip and Arryn was not going to waste her time figuring out how the hell that happened.

"Why did you think sabotaging your sister's flirting, which I was uncomfortable with in the first place, would benefit you at all!"

Arryn turns around just as Tulip runs off, crying into her hands.

"Oh nice job. You made a pretty girl cry. Nice work. Are you gonna go after her or am I?"

"Back off," Arryn pivots on her heel and throws Orchid a stern look. "You aren't making anything better."

Brian runs off to console Tulip and Arryn shoves her unfinished necklace into her bag and keeps it close. They can't stay here forever and going into town is a little too risky.

"Lydia?" She calls out to the Hybrid that brought them here.

Phoena:

The days were becoming shorter as Phoena walked into the old hide out that the bounty hunters used as a office for people to accept targets. Each region had one, and this one happened to be near the Lake of Rage. It was not illegal to be a bounty hunter. It was a way for police to catch more dangerous targets. Phoena could fill the snowy wind from here, even though the snowy weather was still far away. It almost felt like she could freeze any second. Phoena had long, blue hair and sky blue eyes. She was toned and tan and was about 5'9". She was also a hybrid of Water and Ground. She was known at the sniper with her abilities Mega Launcher and Sniper. She was well know through the bounty hunter rank, but only because she had a great teacher.

Phoena did not always used to work alone. She used to be partnered with a hybrid known as Shadow. They were friends, but she never did show him her true feelings. He had always been away from people. He didn't want anyone close to him getting hurt. He had always said that he was afraid that he would hurt her because of a darkness inside.

She walked up to the desk and took a deep breath, "I am here about a new target."

The woman at the desk was staring at the file, obviously upset for who was the target, "Phoena..." The woman handed to file to the blue haired girl. Phoena opened it and looked at it. Her eyes widened.

"W...what? This is a joke right?" Phoena had a pleading sound in her voice.

"I am sorry, but it isn't. We want you to put him in the ground. He is no longer immune to our safety rule."

Phoena clenched the papers as she fought her emotions. She looked at the papers. The name read 'Shadow' a Fighting/Dark type.

"I accept. It would only be right for me to be the one to bring him down." Phoena said.

"Be warned, if you try to protect him, you will be exiled from the bounty hunters and you will be hunted down." The woman at the desk said.

"That won't happen." Phoena said, turning away from the desk. A tear flowing down her cheek.

"I'm gay"

When Tulip heard these words she didn't know if she should cry or scream with joy.

She looked at him and sighed.

"Its fine... But you have to be my gay bestfriend now... But I wont tell anyone." she said softly.

She wiped away her tears, then Brians.

"You are a fairy type. I should've guessed." she said laughing a little.

"but who am I gonna love..." she whispered. The feeling was starting to come back. Tulip was so dependant on a boyfriend figure loving her, that if she didn't have one she would panic.

"Lets j-just go back." she said quietly, standing up and walking back.

"Do I ever make things better? No. I make things fun." she cackled.

"You are a fairy type. I should've guessed." she said laughing a little.
Brian laughed too, relieved that she would keep his secret.

She mumbled something under her breath that Brian couldn't make out.
"Lets j-just go back." she said quietly
"Okay" He smiled walking next to her toward Arryn and Orchid.

"So, What types are you?" He asked, curious as to if she made that puddle of flowers beneath her.
Just then all three of his pokemon appeared running to his sides. "Hey!" His sylveon hugged him with it's ribbons while his pidgeotto and fennekin ran in circles around him. He bent over to pet each of their heads and then stood up and started walking again.

Brian was relieved that everything was fine now, however he wondered what kind of trouble that girl Orchid would get them all into in the future. She seemed to like when he was angry, he made a mental note to try extra hard to control his anger around her. What he was really concerned about though was Tulip, she seemed to be really upset about the situation, even after she still seemed worried about something. He wondered if anyone else in the group could fill him in about what was troubling her, asking her directly seemed rude to him, although he never did understand how conversations worked.

Deacon Masterson

"Hey guys! Bet you didn't know I could do that! Neither did I! Now I can truly be free and soar through the winds when I felt like it! Haha!" Deacon had said to the group a couple minutes ago. They had all ignored him though as Tulip was making drama with Brian involved, Orchid being mean to them, and Arryn trying to solve the problem. Deacon was annoyed a little, so he jumped into the air and his five feet long black colored wings retracted from his back so that they were visible. He then proceeded to maneuver and fly just above the ground to in front of Tulip, Orchid, Arryn, and Brian were. "Hey guys! Look! I can fly now! I discovered this Flying ability while reminiscing in my home thousands of miles north of here. Isn't it great? Haha!" Deacon said as he laughed a hearty laugh and flew around the group in circles using his new wings.
