    When you speak English? (or any other language?)Like a southern accent, if you live in the US, or a plain old american accent? Or a British accent? Or an Irish accent? Just curious. n_n;

    I speak English with a slight accent, (don't know what it is though...) because I've lived 2 years without speaking it. =P (Maybe it's a chinese accent?) And I speak Chinese with an american accent... >.>; My mom also says that my attemps to speak taiwanese have a funny accent...

    I pronounce words in a British accent sometimes. But Im with my Nana and Papa a lot so maybe thats my case. Its sometimes not very noticable. Other then that, I guess I have a Canadian accent. ^_^;

    Lol, I think that once you live in America for a while, your accent won't be as noticeable. =P

    Anyways, I probably have a slight southern [Texan] accent, though I can't really tell. My friend in Arizona could, though, when we talked on the phone. But she said it sounded cute! ^_^; So I guess that I do kind of have one, but it's not too bad.

    I don't believe I have an accent....everyone tells me I don't. Just the other day though, some girl questioned what my ethnicity was. I told her that my dad was from the U.S., and that my mom was from Colombia, and she seemed to nod in agreement. I guess she said I have a slight Colombian accent. I really don't think so though. She's only one out of a lot of people who say I don't!

    I don't have an accent at all, although I like to speak with a British accent just for fun...and when I'm around people with southern accents I tend to use one when I speak to them :P

    And whenever I try to speak spanish, I have a scottish accent. I can't do spanish accents right! >_<

    no...not really...i can speak Mandarin and English pretty well without an accent

    I have a blended accent...I speak with a combined Mexican and Southern accent. Some people may know this combination as a Texan's accent...

    Chinese accent by far...

    though it's a very strange case for me as I've been here since gr.3 and I still have the accent just like day 1... o.o;

    I don't think I have an accent--at least one that can't be noticed too terribly. Living in Boston, and everywhere else in Massachusetts, you develop a sound system of placing a's where -er's are. For example: remember ----> rememba and the name (just as an example) Rita ----> Riter. Then we block out "r" sounds and replace them with "ah". A common example sentence everyone uses is: "Pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd." which translates to, lol "Park the car in Harvard Yard." I do those things quite often if you listen close enough, but other than that I pronounce my words correctly and at least try to sound smart...lol. ^_^;

    *thinks Sayuri should stick to typing, cause that sounded confusing. O_O;*

    No? I don?t. To make this post les boring, I?ll tell a story~

    When my mom was dating my dad, he said she didn?t have a ?Kansas? accent. She never knew there was one, but I Guess he did. He came form Seattle.

    Well since I'm a born an bred person from good old England you'd think I'd have a british accent, although to myself I can't pick up any kind of special accent that stands out (*Guess cos I'm used to my own voice*) but last year I had one person say I sounded like I came from Canada and one thought I sounded like I came from America O_o; I've never been to either of those places...
    ...I think I've been watching too many American shows and picked up on the accent or something XD

    Yes apparently I have an accent! I never thought I did until I went to Bermuda the summer before freshman year. Anyways I can't describe what my accent is but I can tell you how I know about it. Anyways we were walking to a beach and we met this older couple. We started talking to them and found out that they go down there every year and stuff. Anyways they asked us if we were from Connecticut. We weren't really sure how they knew that since we never said anything about CT! But we said we were and they said they were too! They said that they knew we were from CT cuz we had a CT accent. I don't know what a CT accent is exactly but I have one!

    Boston accents are so cool Sayuri! My friend has cousins that love in Boston and she says that her little cousin says, "Nomar hit a homer over the Green Monster" like this, "Nomah hit a homah ovah the Green Monstah." At least that's the only way I found to explain it! It's so cute though!

    I don't have an accent. Southerners will say that I have a northener accent, but there is no such thing. They're the ones with the accent. I speak english the normal way.

    I don't have an accent in English or Chinese.
    Sometimes I get tongue-tied when I speak. :P

    I have a crazy accent in Vietnamese though.
    My parents would laugh their heads off, when I say a word or two. XD

    I can't really say a heavy one, but I do really have an accent, whether you hear it or not depends. It sounds sorta weird when I pronounce words with 'R' if you ever heard French or Portuguese people talking, thats sorta what it sounds like. And words like "hot" will take me forever to say because of the 'H'..other then that my English is good from what I've heard.

    *Still has Andy and Soph?s voice clips* Yeah, I?d say you have a little accent. =p

    No accent here. ^_^;; Well, not that I know of, anyway. =\ I don't speak with the stereotypical Canadian accent. X3; I'm pretty normal (well, in that aspect).

    oO; On a sort of related topic... my dad says he might be able to get our mic working on the other computer, though.
