do you organize boxes

    title.

I rarely catch enough Pokémon during the main storyline to even bother with organization, and after that it's just sorta random. I probably should find a better way of doing it once I beat Sun since I intend to catch a lot more Pokémon than I normally do. hbu? share your box-organizing techniques, if you have any.

I actually do organize my boxes: all Pokemon are sorted by original game, sometimes region.

I'm a scatterbrain, I just leave the box unorganized. But I do organize them for event purpose.

All pokemon sorted into national pokedex order currently 1-721 then the other boxes separated into breeding pokemon (my dittos and hatcher), fighting teams, special pokemon.

I don't tend to unless all of the Pokemon I've collected over the years are on that game, for example, on X I've organised every box because I've get Pokemon from various games and have kept for many years. However, in Sun and Moon, I haven't caught too much so I don't really bother.

I didn't before, now I do. I've organized them into 1-30, 31-60, 61-90 and so on for my Living Dex for Alpha Sapphire. In SM, I've got them organized into Apricorn Balls and Beast Balls (one box for each ball), one for Synchronizers, one for my eventual Ditto's. Rest will probably be used for breeding grounds, once I clear the trash out.

Like some people above, when I'm getting one of every Pokemon, I sort them by dex order in my boxes, and label the boxes accordingly. I keep spare shiny Pokemon, event Legendaries, and alternate formes etc. in separate boxes after that, because the clutter things up otherwise.

I haven't done it before because I don't have too much trouble finding what I'm looking for even though all my boxes are unorganized. At least I have one box for legendaries only but the pokemon in the box aren't in any proper order either.

I've never caught enough Pokemon to fill up even the first box, but I do want that to change when I complete Sun/Moon. I have always wanted to have a living dex and I would organize them that way. Would be so much easier to find stuff instead of having them all scattered like I usually do.

The most organization I've done is a death box for Nuzlockes. I might take a shot at a Living Dex in Sun/Moon though, and some organization in that is kinda required.

I sometimes find the National Dex order a bit boring, so I just organise my living dexes in interesting ways such as by type, by game caught in, or just a reordered national dex keeping families together.
Other than that, its just random, in a way that looks nice.

When I started collecting Pokemon for the living dex after completing the game I titled each box by type. I also changed the wallpaper to match the type. I combined 2 types for the smaller types and types like Water and Grass had their own boxes.

After I moved my living dex to bank in numerical order. My boxes are now crazy.

In moon I haven't started catching every Pokemon so any Pokemon I catch is in box 1.

If I really want to collect Pokémon in a game or just have a lot of them, I sort the boxes. Always by type, but there are some extra boxes for Pokémon I want grouped together (shinies, teams for battling). Mostly I can manage one type per box, but some types (water) require more than one box. In Emerald I always have one empty box for cloning and one box with cloned Pokémon.

There are some cases where I organize my boxes. My starter Pokemon and other regular players on my team deserve a place of honor. There is a special box for friends I have been through a lot with. This for the decorated veterans of my team.

If I am breeding Pokemon I like to store them alongside their parents and ancestors and not split up the family. There is a box for the few shinies that I own. I also have kept boxes of monotypes or boxes full of just one species that I am really found of.

Last but not least legendaries are given their own private boxes, I know its silly but I feel like captivity is something that would be especially hard for creatures who have spent so many ages of this world fleeing human eye. I try to give them space, It may take longer for them to adjust to me. If they are part of a trinity I put them with their brothers.

I've already made a box for the legendaries and Ultra Beasts; another for a party I might use.

Like last time in Alpha Sapphire, I'm going to be making boxes of Pokémon that have been traded, have been Wonder Traded, and I will evolve.

I have Poke Bank, I'm not sure if I'm able to sort them yet on there. I just threw all my favorites/legendaries from Y, Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby and Red on there. Then to find out I can't use them in my Sun and Moon till January :/

But currently in Sun and Moon they are unorganized. I'm catching way more Pokemon then I usually do, only because of Poke Pelago having a lot of fun with that.
