I stopped touching it long before my mother did. We bought water before that even happened, I think.

It was a real thick, murky brown, too. Nastiest water I've seen outside of West Virginia.

Luckily though we have a company managing our properties, so I don't think that's gonna fly here. :P

Don't you guys have a bleach tap at home?

Bleach tap? We don't live at Rand Road anymore. That was when I was in elementary and middle school.

We're still in Garner though. Same town.

:/

I had a dream the other night, which was really interesting. It was one of my fantasies where I'm hiking out on my own long, long distances with a sachel full of supplies and a cloak over my body... and this time I was going to see my sister with my dad. When I got there I silently looked on, and the shapes and angles of the architecture felt like they reflected my dad's ways, and when I went inside it was very warm, cozy and posh... and my sister was nowhere to be found.

I think this says a lot.

I'm returning this Pokemon Platinum I impulsively bought yesterday. Even if GameStop doesn't accept general returns (the bastards), it doesn't even save so it's faulty as well. Give me my $50 back!

I need it to put money down on a PC. Platinum can wait, and I can buy from Amazon instead. GameStop pissed me off with their data collection garbage, wanting me to sign up for a card that didn't even give me any discounts - the one that did save me some shitty $5 off an overpriced five year old DS game costs me $14.99 a year. Fuck that.

Hello everybody it's been awhile o.o im going to toys r us with my skill builder. Also speaking of places you live, my closet is broken and my dresser as well. :<
What's a skill builder? Never heard of those things.

Also @Pendraflare the whole city's pretty much closed today because snow lol
I remember you saying it's pretty bad up in PA... but there's like next to no snow here and everyone is all huddled inside like it's a storm. In Colorado nothing would have changed, everything would run as usual. Up North there it's probably similar.

Mother says it's what she missed about the Army... "the weather didn't change shit." Or so she said.

It seems Ray William Johnson has taken over the DCC.

Well it snowed last night, and this morning we ended up with a two-hour delay so we missed our first class, but not our second one. And in Colorado I remember hearing that it's usually cold there too.

A skill builder is like, someone who builds your social skills. I have really bad social skills so she takes me places and teaches me skills to build up on my socializing.

I'm on the western side of PA, and thankfully no more snow since the other day. But it's still rather cold here. Even at the worst this weekend people seemed to be going about their business like normal (which they seem to do here until they hit "well I physically cannot get around anymore oh well"). When I lived down in Georgia years ago, I remember even really cold days had the chance of shutting down schools, haha. Or at least it almost happened once. Snow did not exist in that area except for maybe the rare flurry once a decade, the closest we got otherwise was maybe a sheet of frost on everything after a really cold night.

I've seen pictures of peoples' doors in other areas that got hit worse this year, and I'm suddenly thankful that it did not hit like that here. :X

^ haha i can sympathize with Georgia weather. last year it was like 0° or something close and they closed school, best day ever. our county, however, is always the last to close. they'll decide to close after everyone is dressed and about to head out to the bus.

I very clearly remember one morning when I was still in middle school, where the weather was cold enough for that area that the power kept shutting off. In a rather weird way, too. When it shut off and then came back on, it would shut off again near immediately a second time, but after that when it came back on it would stay on for a little while...rinse and repeat. Got into school (which was normally just a 20 minute walk from my house, don't remember if I was driven that day though), and I heard the teachers talking about oh they might have to shut down the school today because the power won't stay on!! as we sit in our darkened homeroom classes .... but of course the power finally came on and stayed on only a few minutes after school would have normally started.

Hopes shattered.

I got about 10in of snow here in NJ (where I live at least). I am personally loving the snow, sadly my throat is sore again and I can't be outside long. UUUUGH...when the good days come too, I want to enjoy the snow, but my body is like, 'NOPE, you can't enjoy nice things'.

My throat started getting sore last night. This morning I woke up at about 3:30, unable to swallow and just feeling all around awful. I ended up going to work, but I doubt I'll even get to go tomorrow. I could barely talk today ;_;

P.S., we have about 6 inches of snow and are expecting 2-3 more tonight aaaa, gonna make a snowman.

We had really cold winters but I loved them because of how dry they were... here I can't stand the thirties without my head covered D:

When it snowed it stayed mostly dry, too. And the summers hardly ever got into the 100s F. Summers were great, so were winters. And in the spring and fall nature shows off with beautiful rare showers and mists that play with the mountains... actually the mountains take the brunt of most of our westward weather, remembering. So that's why... :P

Love the cold, like the heat... fuck off humidity. >_>

Last week or two weeks back, I had the same issues. Sore throat, unable to talk, coughing really bad, unable to swallow food good. It was really bad, but the good news for me was that it was a bad cold. So... its mostly a bad cold; you'll get well soon, but still I'll say it again. Get well soon! :3

Ahhh, than you ;3;
I'm really hoping I don't have to call out of work. But my job involves talking to people more than anything, and if I can't talk, well...

And this same sentiment is why I thought me moving from about as far south in Georgia as I could be up to a northern state was one of the best things I could do for myself. Well, except that I'm not liking the cold nearly as much as I would have thought.

But at least I'm not feeling like I'm about to die during summers anymore! No more walking outside and accidentally finding that it's 116 F because of humidity whoooo.

Oh no. :( That sucks, hope that goes away soon.

(Also: now I have Frozen in my mind.)
