Silly thread. We all think whenever we make a post. We don't always think that much into it, but something has to go on in our brains that let's our fingers hit the right keys on the keyboard. The question should really be asking us how much effort we apply to our posts. About a month ago, I wouldve said I always think my posts through before I make any sort of impact on a thread. I'm just gonna say now that this would be a lie. For the last couple of months, my posts had no real quality feel to them. They were mostly one liners and to be completely honest, half of the time I wasn't posting anything near as helpful or detailed as I could have. When October came around though, I began to wonder why I wasn't trying that hard with my posts. Was it because I cared for post count more than the quality of what I was writing? Probably. I've sorta stopped caring about post count as a whole now though, and my posts are normally a paragrah or more. Opposed to one sentence, this is actually okay! I'm not going to try and pretend that a wall of text means you're posting something worth reading, but forums are there so people can communicate from all over the world. To create new friendships, you gotta tell them as much about yourself as you can, and common sense will tell you that you'll probably get more information by reading an entire page than just one line. I also try to apply intelligence and valid points to my posts, but I think we can leave those catastrophes out of the way for now, \o/.
