Do you...

I don't -_- I'm sitting in the most cramped part of the living room on a crappy old computer right now...I'm between a cabinet and a wall and I can't stick my legs out straight...I'm also in the world's most uncomfortable chair...but anyway the reason I hate having a computer in the living room is mainly because of the lack of privacy...I can't write anything private on the computer because when I write, it's really depressing and if my parents saw it they'd think I was suicidal or something like that and they'd send me to therapy...they've threatened to send me to a psychiatrist before and if they saw anything I write they'd do it for sure so I can't do anything on here -_-

it's because my dad is an IT specialist and he manages to salvage good parts from dead computers that his company discarded and he makes "mutt computers" at home XD

He also is collecting laptops that he can send with me and my brother when we're off in college...
 
I will get one in less then 8 months...i eagerly await...
 
Unfortunately, I don't have a computer in my room. But I am hoping to get a laptop this year. :cheeky:

That's kinda what my dad does, except he just roots around for good deals on computer parts. The result is still the same though: a 'mutt computer' hehe...
 
I don't have a computer in my bedroom, but we have a activity room in between me and my brother's bedrooms. So when I wake up, my computers are there ready for deployment. XD

I simply don't have enough room in my bedroom to have a computer in there, and it makes networking difficult as the cables aren't long enough... our budget isn't sufficient to have wireless LAN networking either...
 
I find wireless a pain anyways. ;p

We have a twenty-five foot Ethernet cable going from my the router here in my room to the computer down in the living room. It was quite a feat to drill a hole to do it, lol.
 
I hade to do that once....thoese poor wall tiles...man but i suck at that sort of stuff

Hi ya Optic! I'm glad that you're here!

I have wireless, and it's pretty good! We used to have to run a cable just like that from the living room to my room from the attic.
 
I just use the one in my parent's room, they're hardly ever in their room, so just as good as having my own computer.

My mom won't put one in my room saying that I'd "stay up all night"... Guess she's just ignorant of the fact I can stay up all in her room, since she's never there, too. :\ It's possible, but I've never actually stayed up all night before, nor do I want to. :\

._. You know how to do that? lol. I recently turned off my computer's firewall and got a bunch of viruses on our [new] computer. I didn't know! I thought firewalls blocked off the internet. :laugh:

*counts again* Wait...that's wrong. I have 9 less. XD

And yes I do have a computer in my room. I have two rooms so I wish I had another computer.
 
We have three computers too... but they aren't in my room. Soon... hopefully soon... we'll have four so I can have my own. Today may be the last day I get to keep the laptop in my room so I must take advantage of that. But maybe it'll stay longer since my dad hurt his leg again and he won't need to take the laptop to work for awhile. Hmm...
 
My friend?s mom doesn?t let them have wireless stuff cause she fears radiation?my room is full of it though, from cordless phones to game controllers. And hey, I?m not totally messed up yet. o.x;
