dogs or cats?

Cats are cute, but dogs are legit the best things on Earth. They are so sweet and innocent<3

Dogs. I sorta hate cats after owning 2 in my life.

DOGS ARE VERY IMPORTANT

YES DOGGO

Dogs. I sorta hate cats after owning 2 in my life.

I totally get this, I had several upon several in my life (only maxing out at 6 at one time, though) and I'm so over how gross they can make your house.

Not to say dogs can't ruin your home, but Cats are sneaky bastards that get into the hard-to-reach places and ruin them.

I grew up with dogs, dogs are clever and funny but they sure stink and make noise.

Now I have two pedigree cats who are the cutest most beautiful things on earth and best animals ever and I wouldn't trade them for any stinky dog ever <3

I like dogs too, they're awesome in many ways. But I greatly prefer owning a cat myself, at least for now (:

I've worked with many cats during my time as a volunteer for the BCSPCA and have learned to appreciate them too (as a kid I was actually afraid of them, because being so used to dogs I found their behavior really unpredictable lol), but there's never been a point in my life where I was without a dog and I can't imagine ever being without one

I kind of want to make a separate thread on this later with the details but dogs are actually scientifically better companions (if you want a companion that loves you, at least) - the bond between humans and dogs is a really special one.

Cats are my favorite animals of all time, but dogs are an incredibly close second. I enjoy spending time with dogs a bit more, but raising a cat is so much more relaxing and they are just so affectionate.(usually)

lol people who think cats give a shit about them

dogs.

So much quiet and relax than a dog..... I don't have the energy for a dog...

Cats. For pretty much the same reasons as Mawa. My cats have generally been very low maintenance, and dogs barking can grate me sometimes too since I can't stand noise. They're adorable when not under my care though! I don't think I can own one. ;(

I can relate 100%, except that I had one for 15 years and I want another one later. But I am picky on my dogs. Give me any cats <3 but dogs, I'll have to choose carefully the best for me. I volunteer in a shelter so I saw many dogs that I said "I want to take you with me" and many other dogs I said "Sorry bud. find a good home tho".
