I'm not a fan of the TCG. Does the online one make it any more fun?

7. It depends on your experience with playing the offline TCG, in my opinion. Though it was far better than I, the "seasoned" player what thought it would be unchallenging, was expecting.

The online tutorials help you learn to play it better than the rulebooks do. (b'-')b

But I still find playing in person more fun, because you can do idle chatter while you play or after you play. ^_^

You might find the online one more fun because it's essentially a video game, though, and you're not competing against other people.

It's not actually fully online person-vs-person play at the moment. They're still developing that feature. You're just playing against a computer player right now in the "Trainer Challenge". It is, after all, still in its beta stage of development.

Also, I've discovered I'm competitive when food is involved. I will try and help my class win the Organization Rice Bowl challenge so we can have a free class day with food.

Nah. They don't have that option yet. We're just facing the computers. It's more like Dondon said (I was going to edit, but now I don't need to!) It's pretty fun, but sometimes I feel like it's conspiring against me, heh.

10. Actually we're not. That player-vs-player feature isn't up yet. That's probably about half a year off from being finished.

Most of the people I know who play the TCG in any way, shape, or form are also collectors.

I'm just a collector, not a player. And if I do play I don't use those card things to attack. /remembers "EX battles" with friends

12. You must mean Energy when you say "card things". Those are pretty hard to get unless you buy a theme deck. I personally like the game depth that energy cards add, though. Makes the game more of a challenge and makes it so that the "strongest" card isn't always the best card.

14. Try Chrome or Safari, especially if you've got Firefox 4 that you're using. That's been more of a resource hog than usual for Firefox.

That and the login is your Pokemon.com login, if you have one.

I wanna use Safari, and it's FF3.something that keeps shutting down.

And I got an account there 'cause I apparently needed one for the Dream World that has yet to come to America and Europe.

Also, FF did not restore my tabs. Which means I lost the Unicode thing I've been using. Sigh.

I've never visited any of the official Pokemon websites. :/
And... The card game. Oh, the card game. xDD;;
I remember struggling as a kid, trying to get energies. It was hard. I only had about 3 of them in my deck.
Not to mention, I was only allowed to buy bootleg cards.

7. Huh. I can get in just fine. I'm even watching some episodes of the Pokemon anime on there right now.

Energy were very uncommon unless you bought a pre-made theme deck.
