it was. <3 Especially because my prize cards were energys, so I just kept using Hyper Beam until he managed to kill me.

He was nice and used his Fire/Dark. I used Water/Psychic.

I'm thinking of like, D.Gray-man and Soul Eater.
Though a friend of mine who has read pretty much all there is available says D.Gray-Man goes "Evangelion and turns into an emo-depressing yaoi" halfway through O_o

Albeit that would be halfway through, and I'd only be buying the first few volumes >:3

WHAAAAAAAAAA? There is no Yaoi ): The only thing I could think of even remotely close is something that happened in this last arc, and that still.... NOOOOOO TT^TT Never actually seen Evangelion, though...
ALSO: Depressing and emo? T^T Sure, there is a loooot of sad moments. Heck: this whole series is basically a tragedy. There's a loooot of emotions and character development. The series thrives as a character-centered story. There is death. A looooot of death. Death of the innocent, death of the guilty, death of friends and family... and yes, that brings out their emotions. The characters are fallible and make poor decisions, especially if you read the Manga or REVERSED novels talking to you, Netto >( because they show a lot more than the Anime is capable of. It's shonen, but, people seem to say it is a blend of shonen and seinen. I just loves it.

Anyway: READS IIIIIIT >80 I am telling you: the plot is very shonen and linear and blegh til the Noah really get introduced, but it gets so much better. As does the art <3

7. Laziness is more an issue than open-mindedness, since, if I really try, I can notice faults with things pretty swiftly. I tend to ignore flaws in people because those are what make them who they are.
