Don't you just hate it when

you are really hungry but nothing seems appetizing :( I just had this happen. I was hungry, went into the kitchen and nothing we had seemed good to eat at the moment haha. Ever had this happen?

    ALL THE DAMN TIME D:

Although, it would probably help if either me or my housemate went shopping more than once every fortnight. We never have any decent food :/

I've found that pasta is the best cure for this for me. Something about it makes me able to eat it even when nothing satisfies my appetite.

I hate it more when I'm so hungry that I can't eat anything because whatever I eat makes me feel nauseous.

It happens to me all the time. I feel hungry and it's between lunch and dinner, and the only things I see to eat are full meals, such as cans of soup or microwaveable lunches. However, if there are crackers in the house and I become starving, I usually take a handful of those and nibble on them until I feel full again.

That happens all the time, and so I just end up eating everything since I can't decide on anything. Hence why I'm overweight.

I actually thought this was going to be a list what you hate when. I was totally going to rant about how much I hate that every night for the past 3 weeks I've had a dream involving a cat.

Pretty much every time I step into the kitchen... which is frequently.

It's not so much that there's nothing to eat around my apartment either. It's more that I'm just really indecisive about everything - especially food. I'm the type that opens up the fridge, stares at its contents for long periods of time, then closes the door and doesn't eat anything. I can also never decide where to go out to eat when the times comes.

    Always hungry... but nothing ever sounds good. D;

Happens way too often. It's even worse these days, because now I don't do small grocery runs once every few days for myself. I do a big grocery run at the beginning of the paycheck, and the majority of that food is for my roommate. Before, if I found I didn't have enough food options, there were 2 groceries stores on my way home. Now they're out of my way.

Like right now, my food options are french fries, pasta, rice, or whatever random things I may have in the pantry. Everything else is my roommate's. And it doesn't help I am super broke right now. .__.
So it's a lot of looking around, only seeing 3-5 options, and going "nope" until I'm hungry enough to eat.

This happens at work too, but pretty much all there is there is bagels, haha. It's easy to get burnt out on food there. But I have to eat, so I settle for something.

This isn't the case for me, thankfully; whenever I go towards the fridge, there's always something to eat, weather it be pickles, carrots, cake, apples, oranges, yogurt, leftover chicken, you name it. Food don't get finished in our house that quickly at all, because, well, most of my family likes too... sort of control themselves. xD;; I suppose this is a good thing, and even better that it's rubbed onto me. Only time we ever run out of food is when we haven't done any groceries for a while. A while, as in, 12 - 14 days.

No, because whenever I'm hungry, I just eat whatever I can find. Y'know, I just get the most I can outta the situation.

I had this issue last night except the one thing I wanted to eat involved a ton of prep work. It was the worst because I was dying of hunger as I sauteed onions, chopped broccoli and ham, and cooked pasta...definitely worth it in the end though.

I would probably starve to death because I would be lazy to get something :/

Within the past few years, it's been that nothing ever specifically sounds good. I eat for sustenance, and I don't really care what I eat. When I'm at work I can eat the same things from the fruit / salad bar every day, or when I'm at home I'll eat a sandwich, or even drink a Slim Fast just to fill myself up, and I don't really care. xD; I drink Slim Fasts often just because nothing else really sounds appealing.

When something does sound good, it's usually some pricey meal that I can't afford anyhoo. -w-

I've had this happen plenty of times, unfortunately. I think it's mostly because I tend to crave a certain taste, and even when there's plenty of food here: nope, this is too sweet, don't feel like this, not quite hungry enough for that, that takes too long to make, etc...

Kind of annoying, really. Although it's usually when I'm more just slightly hungry, because if I'm really hungry I'm far less picky about things.

I've found that pasta is the best cure for this for me. Something about it makes me able to eat it even when nothing satisfies my appetite.
I've actually found this out too. I've gone into my kitchen plenty of times trying to find that one "right" thing I want to eat, and I just end up giving up and just cooking up a bit of spaghetti and sprinkling some parmesan over it, haha. Seems to do the job well.

I hate it when this happens but luckily I always have my go-to food if I'm not in the mood for anything else: pasta. I'm a huge pasta/macaroni fan and can eat it all day every day if that were healthy. ;P Especially if I melt cheese on top of it oh my oh my. Glad I'm not the only pasta fan here!

Fried potatoes are delicious too but that takes too much effort for how lazy I can be, sigh.

every single time i walk into the kitchen it just seems to not have anything i want, the sad thing is that i have no clue what i want either. i will literally walk to my kitchen like 10 times in an hour and look through everything and each time come back with nothing

    so frustrating!
