E3 2014 - PC's Official Conference And Livestream Discussion Thread!

I just realized that they spelled digital "digitial" on their main website. Good job, Nintendo.

I wonder if we'll have any figures for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. I think we might, could be what we get similar to how we got the Pokeball that counts steps in HgSs.
I don't mind them starting off with smash, it was one of the most anticipated things.

Did I miss a handheld announcement for it? I came in mid-announcement and it looked like it was just Wii U.

Indiana Toads. I like it.

Nope, so far they've only mentioned Smash and Yarn Yoshi.

I never responded to this - what I mean is that they didn't say there's any way for the 3DS to read the figures, so I can't imagine how they would be used with the game, you know?

Anyway, I never leave a Nintendo E3 without feeling hype, even about games I didn't care about a few hours ago.

No Metroid announcement.

New open world Zelda looks neat. Yoshi's Wooly World looks good. Solid date for SRemakes. That's about it. Pretty average.

Sooo... Yoshi's Wooly World, the new Zelda, the introduction of Palutena, and Hyrule Warriors all looked pretty rad. I missed most other things, like the gameplay shots of ORAS. Oh well. There wasn't a whole lot to get psyched for this time around.

The main thing I kept with me: November 21st.

Nintendo won E3 in my eyes, there was not an announcement they made that I was not excited for. I would have liked a Metroid and/or Pokemon Snap announcement, but everything was great. Splatoon looks like a heck of a lot of fun.

That was kinda...meh. No gameplay information about LoZ '15 or ORAS. Hyrule Warriors was the only thing that grabbed my interest. Hoping the presentations later today shows more detailed information.

I'm so pissed. Worldwide is not 3 countries! Why is Europe the 28th? I mean, is it so hard translating things to 3 other languages? They can like, copy 80% from the RS text. My version is English anyways, so postpone the games only to the affected countries. (Germany, Italy, France). Great. A whole week waiting, while the rest of the world *cough* *I mean America and Japan* *cough* is already enjoying the game. And best of all, every. single. thing gets spoiled. Nintendo, f*** you.

So you weren't excited about Palutena's confirmation in Smash Bros., who everyone wanted since Uprising, Bayonetta 1 getting bundled with Bayonetta 2, a new Xenoblade trailer, Splatoon, which is a new IP mind you, and the leaked Star Fox title, which everyone has been begging for the company to bring back?

Nintendo wins E3, hands down, and I can taste the salty tears of those who didn't want Miis in Smash.

Please remember that's not all the countries it's being released and that not all released dates have been announced. And that they never indicated that it was a simultaneous release like X and Y. They just said "worldwide in November" . At least you don't have to wait 3 months, a week isn't that much of a wait.

(You should probably be grateful we're getting remakes in the first place.)

Once again, Nintendo wins me over.

Amibo looks interesting, although it is similar to Skylanders. I never cared for Skylanders or Disney Infinity, but this was intriguing. I'm hoping there's some Pokemon figures that can interact with ORAS or some other Wii U games.

I'm really loving the ability to play as Miis in the new Smash and the customize-able feature too. I've never played Kid Icarus:Uprising so Palutena's confirmation really didn't phase me much. I honetsly got excited thinking a Smash anime was coming from that trailer. >-> Yoshi's Wooly World looks a ton of fun too! I'm just honestly more excited for Nintendo's upcoming games than Microsoft's and Sony's. I guess I'm just more bias towards Nintendo, but I personally say they won.

Nintendo wins. That wasn't even a contest. I'm still hoping for some news about Pokken Fighters if that's still even a real thing at this point.
