Easter Egg hunt discussion thread

The current hint seems to be pointing at Forum Games, but the birds comment completely loses me lol.
 
Currently in the same boat. Checked out Pokemon Trivia, some of the fan games sections, and Clubhouse too (in case of a board game club).

Might be five users with bird Pokemon avatars? Seems too difficult to find that. Questions if "five" refers to the title or the page number. Typically referred to the thread's page number. Will just check out page 5 of everything there. Edit: Nothing on page 5 of a forum games thread. Went back to the Spring/Autumn tug-of-war. Going back to the fan game area.

Potentially slipped onto page 2 of the subforum. Notes both found eggs in Fan Games on page 2, as of writing this.

Thanks to that little nudge I was able to find one of the eggs I'd missed in that section, so as long as your egg list for that area is still current, here's something in return. There are at least 2 more eggs hidden somewhere in Fangame related sections (not threads in a section, sections as a whole, to be clear).

My current totals are these:

Row 1: Lileep, Buneary, Torchic, Scorbunny, Natu
Row 2: Diglett, Munchlax, Quaxly, Rilou, Pidove
Row 3: Growlithe, Salandit, Jangmo-o, Houndour, Helioptile
Row 4: Electrike, Dreepy, Deino, Axew, Scraggy
Row 5: Oshawott, Spheal, Numel, Litten, Sableye
Row 6: Cosmog, Swinub, Applin, Goomy, Morepeko

I'm now at the point where I'd be willing to give section nudges for eggs others are missing in exchange for the same. We're pretty close to finding them all!

It's in the Games Showcase section. Another extra hint (and how I found it funnily enough) was that I misunderstood one of the official hints given, and 'solved' it in this section instead.

Knows where to go for Growlithe. Saves that for later, though. Looked through waaaaay too many threads. Needs a good break. (Also just looked down there. Skimmed too fast, probably.) Edit: Found it.

A general hint for Morpeko: Forum games in a thread over 50 pages long. Does not really narrow it down that much. Says this more to encourage you to wait for the hint and not comb through hundreds of pages.

Edit2: Up to 27 with Numel.

Pidove is in the Art Studio! And sure, it'll save a bit of time. Here's one for you, too:
The thread is big, but not in post or page count. (like Palamon's art thread kinda big, but it's not in Palamon's art thread lol)

relates to the Natu egg. I checked everything that could've even come close to making sense for the context of it, and the only thread that made sense to the clue that also had an egg was the one with Natu.

Edit: Big congrats to Yellow for finding the Litten egg in me and another user's glorified chat thread in one of the writing sections by the way. I can't imagine anyone not hunting for eggs would ever go through that whole thing on their own since it really is just the two of us talking like 99% of the time LOL.

On the Torchic egg hint: No luck so far. Searched a few places.
  • Not the QueUp thread (for this egg).
  • Looked through the Trade Corner giveaway threads (including the Ditto Megathread).
  • Checked the Gifts of Surprise threads on the Bulletin Board (and the clubs).
  • Glanced at a few help threads around the ROMhacking sections. Interpreted it as possibly donating resources for games. Mostly checked page 2 of bigger threads.
  • Tried a few search terms. Expects one word of the clue to be in the thread title. No dice for "queue". Felt kind of hopeful for "save", referring to saved games. (Found a "Save File Donation" thread, even.) No.
 
I haven't yet. Just got done clearing the last thread I'd marked for search, now it's all wildcards for me. Not sure if the Munchlax one'll even be found in time or not, unless GP decides to give one last hint... >.> The Xatu egg hint took a while but it was eventually solved, so I'm sure this one will be too after a bit of looking around.

I think "It wouldn't have taken as long maybe, but it got pushed back in the queue." means it's on the second page now. Though I'd say it's probably lower on that page due to my pretty full sweep of each section. (around 30 threads around the time it started, unless I missed it >.>)
