Hi :woop: I know I am a bit late for this, but I was in Denmark last week and before that I was in France / south Germany.
I haven't been very active here since the GT ended but let's see if this helps me get more into PC once again :)

PS sorry for that title, I couldn't think of anything on the spot

What's your favorite challenge you've done in all your time playing Pokemon?

    Favorite type?

    Favorite move?

    Favorite ability?

    What is your favorite anime?

    What's your favorite animal?

    Favorite pokemon?

I can't give straightforward answers uh?
My favorite anime is still Toradora! There are more shows that I have really enjoyed or that I appreciate for various reasons (Made in Abyss, Kill la Kill, Kuragehime) but Toradora hits right in the feels ♥
Favorite animal: honest answer would be killer whale (yes I said it) but for a pet - or for a more common choice to begin with - then it would be rabbits! Which is my chinese zodiac sign
Favorite Pokémon: extremely hard to pick one but if I had to, then it's Samurott!

From all the countries you've visited so far: what's your favorite place?

There's so many places that came to mind, they could all be my favorite for different reasons. So this will be a very subjective pick... it's Finland ♥

Helsinki is the first place I visited nearly all by myself (well, sometimes I was joined by a friend of mine who actually moved there) instead of going with family, school or other friends. It's a place you don't expect too much from, knowing it's a modern city up in the nordics that has the much older Tallinn just two hours of ferry away, but it was nearly perfect for me - lots of green, an interesting location on the coast, nice architecture (including some very unique contemporary buildings) and a chill vibe that doesn't make you feel overwhelmed (looking at you Amsterdam...)
Special mention to Porvoo, which is just a bus ride away from Helsinki - very charming little town on the river with lots of cute buildings and a perfect contrast to the more modern Helsinki!

when you gonna do another rp post

I have had recurring shower thoughts about this but I have been egregiously bad at translating this into actual work. I mean, it's the usual, the less you RP the harder it is to get back into it, right? I hope sooner than later though ♥

What's your favorite challenge you've done in all your time playing Pokemon?

    Favorite type?

    Favorite move?

    Favorite ability?

Hmm... I am tempted to just plug my own challenge and say, the Lampent Challenge back when it was an event. It has some slight issues with some games but playing with those rules through a Drayano hack and making the best use out of that giant pool of Pokémon as you go along was very fun to try.

My favorite type is Water (sorry team Magma)

There's one move that comes to mind just because of how clutch it is in some situations and how much I have appreciated having it on my team... even if it's not that incredible. And that's Leech Seed :) Giga Drain and similar moves also work very well because of how they let your Pokémon take hits for longer and dish out damage at the same time, which I find quite useful as you're going through new routes or big waves of trainers (think the Black Tower in BW2)

Favorite ability... they don't come up often and they're very hard to use well but things like Shields Down (Minior), Zen Mode (Darmanitan) or Hunger Switch (Morpeko) are interesting concepts for abilities that make Pokémon more flexible and interesting, and I'm all up for it :)

How long have you and Starlight been friends?

What made you want to join the PC staff back in the day?

What's your current favorite section on the PC?

How long have you and Starlight been friends?
    * checks notes * three years or so!
What made you want to join the PC staff back in the day?
Well, I was perhaps more active back then compared to now and I was looking for more involvement, especially in the sections I was having the most fun with (namely Challenges and RP). Contributing to Challenge Events, while very specific, was definitely a big reason for the application as well <3
What's your current favorite section on the PC?
    Right now it's... challenges. Of course. But RP will always have a special place in my heart even if it's been quite a while since my last post there ;-;

What is your favourite meal of all time?

Interesting question? Actually, I have no idea what this means :|

The "of all time" is making me think this refers to specific occasions, but even then I don't know if I can narrow it down to just one. I think I have had some of my favorite dinners in Poland back when I visited (I fell in love with some typical recipes) - whereas some more recent nice meals include one dinner in Croatia (that was a whole selection of typical dishes for me to try, I liked nearly all of them) and a lunch at a restaurant near here that I've had this year to sort of "celebrate" my first paid job (it was all home-made food from basically a restaurant whose owners sourced everything from a farm they also own, super good).
Bonus point for the pink iced coffee from Helsinki, even if it's just for emotional reasons <3

If by meal you mean "dish" or "recipe"... sorry but that can't be named on this site :p
    Spoiler:

Haha you over-complicated it!!! Just wanted to know what your favourite dish is! Thank you for answering <3

    Do you have any pets?
Well... I have two cats! But they're more like my family's cats, I don't spend as much time with them as other family members

What are your top 3 metal bands and why?
That's a difficult question! First, even the boundary between metal and other genres can get a bit blurry at times, and then, there's many bands I like for different reasons and that always make me feel something different. I'll try to be more objective for the top 3 and list some big names but depending on the day I might be enjoying something completely different :)

    1. Nightwish - mostly for personal reasons, given that their music helped me a lot during the latter half of my teenager years. But also because of how much passion was clearly put into the songs. I know, it's not for everyone, and it gets almost... corny at times, but I appreciate that artistically. Also, Nightwish have changed between three different singers and always had great songs to complement their vocal qualities, they had the musical skills and production to back them up, they have changed considerably over time but still kept that something special they have. Also Floor is amazing, the amount of crazy reaction videos she can get out of people is already proof haha. And last point, Nightwish give me some Scandinavian representation on the top 3, and there's a lot more scandinavian metal I happily listen to :)

    2. Black Sabbath - metal basically started with them, right? I've listened to almost every album by them and once again, I love how the band evolved through the years and how Tony Iommi managed to make the best music with the qualities of the other band members at any specific time, going from Ozzy to Ronnie, then to Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes and Tony Martin (yes I love Martin-era Sabbath). They've been so influential and so important for the entire genre that I can't help but putting them on the top 3 ♥

    3. Metallica - this is for my musician self. Metallica has been with me for most of my time playing guitar, from the first time I tried to learn Nothing Else Matters to when I approached stuff like Moth into flame, Fuel and Jump in the fire. I admit that most of this stuff was suggested to me by my teachers at the time, since I never listened to as much Metallica as I did the other bands here - or Paramore - but whatever I had learned from playing along those songs has helped me a lot with my own skills and has stuck with me. I also like how many things they were able to try out during their career (regardless of how well received they were hahaha) and how influential they were, regardless of their own skills or even personal attitude (the Napster thing was not that great and St. Anger was also definitely not great). You could always point at bands that are better than Metallica in terms of musical skills, creativity or outright aggression (Megadeth actually checks many of those boxes, oops - and Accept was quite special in their own right, considering that they released Restless & Wild and Balls to the wall even before Metallica really got going) but I guess I'll always keep that soft spot ^^;
