I had a few VG related ideas:
- PokeCommunity Game Along special? Something separate from June/July's theme, maybe to do a specific game...or just any Pokemon game, with caveats. Not *quite* a Challenge, but not far off from being one.
- Video Game Completion Bingo (i.e. complete a game of specified genres to get points)
- Any kind of tournament...Smash, Mario Kart, etc. Would need to see which is most popular...would also need help with these probably, because I don't own any PvP titles. xD;
- High score arcade game tournaments...there are plenty of free browser games people could play for this. Tetris, Robot Unicorn Attack, etc.
- Maybe a video game review event? Task people with reviewing the game they finished most recently.
- A VG OST competition might be a good idea, with entries being submitted privately and polls to judge the winners by categories.
- If the GT lasts a month I'll bring back the 30 Day Challenge too. I keep meaning to do that anyway...
Non-VG related ideas:
- Anyone remember the song lyrics competition? I had so much fun writing my entry for that, and I'd love to see it brought back! Would be very happy to judge...or participate again. xD
- Some kind of Mafia thing? idk how these work but I know they're popular so it seems logical to have one.
- Name that Tune? That could work for anything - movies, games, etc - but it'd need someone with editing skills...
- Riddles? Either writing or solving...or both, even!
If we do movie nights I'm happy to host via Discord as well - rabb.it is dead and Kast is, frankly, absolute shit - although we'd need to decide on a movie and times...times might be an issue for some people if I host, because I'm not really available past 10PM BST because I need to sleep. xD
