What internet sites do you spend time on when you write (to figure out any information you might need/etc)?
Bulbapedia all the way. I never use Serebii unless Bulba doesn't have it, or it's really important and I need to cross-reference. And PC. I haven't got any writing done today because of my built-in Lurk-inator. Inator.

Usually when looking for ideas I go around Bulbapedia, Wikipedia, Google and sometimes Youtube. Most of the times, I'm reading TV Tropes to find out what not to include that might make my fic a mess of cliches. I also go there for ideas. Wikipedia works well to. Other than that, I go to The OWL at Purdue, Grammar.About.Com, and other sites that might improve my grammar. Though, I can't say I'm improving much but at least I'm trying.

TVTropes is an excellent site, but it's highly addictive. I try to include a few in my fic, but not too many. ^_^ Like . . . lemme see, In The Hood and Bad Ass. And don't forget the eternally-loved Loners Are Freaks, which will be revealed . . . soon.

Oh great, I clicked the link and know I'm hooked on TV Tropes again. Thanks Alot. :P XD

And yeah, this basically covers my morning. TV Tropes, it's addictive.....

Let's see, I use Dictionary when I'm not certain of a word, Serebii for quick Pokemon knowledge (like attacks and abilities), Bulbapedia for Pokemon facts about a specific Pokemon, Google images for a Pokemon's appearance and TVtropes for my procrastination habits.

The big list:

- Bulbapedia: For general Pokémon facts.
- Veekun.com: Online 'dex that's easier for me to use than Serebii. (Sorry, but dammit, I need all of the gens on one page.)
- Wikipedia: Certain general-knowledge-related details.
- TV Tropes: For AEM, it's what I should be putting in the fic. (I really should finish that list, but I keep finding new stuff.)
- Google: For stuff Wiki can't cover.
- Occasionally, Little Details if all else fails.
-- And my LJ friends list.

Where do you like to write? Do you write in public, or do you fiercely guard your secrets?

I prefer to do it anywhere other than my room because I never get any writing done if I'm anywhere near the internet. Other than that, anywhere, anytime. I really don't care as long as I have a piece of paper and some time to myself.

https://www.pokemondb.co.uk/

For moves, Pokemon, it's a simple clean site and easy to understand and navigate

Bulbapedia for episode information, then I watch the respective episode.

New Question in Bold.

Do you have any favorite Tropes from TVTropes that you like, would like to see happening in a fic or are actually using in your fic currently?
For me it's the Xanatos Roulette, Chekov's Gun, Memory Gambit and other seemingly trivial things.
(Oddly enough, two of them seemingly involve Light Yagami)

Currently, a list of the titles that the characters use to call one another, Wikipedia for information on the country in general, and Shining Evolution for the online DigiDex.

For my Pokemon fics, no online sites. I use the complete Pokedex published by Prima, and write away blissfully unaware of anime canon.

For my OSC fics, nada. Not a thing. I'm a sponge of knowledge with those books.

I can't answer the TVTropes question because I've never went to TVTropes. Any attempts to link me to the site in the attempt to get me hooked will fail. It's been tried before.

Bulbapedia for information, and occasionally Wikipedia for general stuff.

Wherever I have a computer with my Word documents. Which used to mean exclusively in my room, but now that I have a laptop, also includes on the bus, at my boyfriend's place, at our summerhouse...

Are you addicted to reading? Not the unhealthy one like stated here but the reading anything you find or see kind of addiction. This is a form of bibliophilia otherwise known as being a bookworm.
No, not really. :/ I keep having books pile up that I sort of intend to read but forget about. Not to mention all the fanfics.

Mainly Veekun's Pokédex to see what moves the Pokémon I'm writing about has and sometimes Pokédex entries.

Do you have any favorite Tropes from TVTropes that you like, would like to see happening in a fic or are actually using in your fic currently?
I like various death and suicide tropes. Like Redemption Equals Death, Driven To Suicide, Seppuku... Outside of that general category, I can't really think of any at the moment, though, and I should be getting to bed, so I'm not going to actually go on TV Tropes and try to find something.

...ooh, wait, Heterosexual Life Partners is my absolute favorite trope.

I actually have a habit of noting down tropes I remember were in my fics as I come across them on TV Tropes, although the list is surprisingly short considering just how much time I tend to spend on there.

I'm pretty much glued to my desk when I write, seeing as my PC resides there. I have been known to take my Netbook out for a spin, though, to a random grassy area, library, or up a mountainside during a torrential downpour of rain (my personal favorite).

Lots of Wikipedia, lots of online thesauruses, lots of Names.com, and lots of Serebii/Bulbapedia/Smogon. I also listen to music on Youtube and waste the majority of the time I should be writing here.

I luckily do not attend that website, or my regular six-month hiatuses might stretch even longer.

I write in my room, where my computer is, but my fic isn't fiercely guarded. :P

I remember doing that like four years ago, but it never loses its hilariousness XD

When I need to find out some general information about the Pokemon world, I usually reference Bulbapedia or YouTube (to watch movies or anime episodes on my own). Like some other people said, I also lovelovelove TV Tropes when I get too bored and/or need a Plot Twist of Much Excitement. Behindthename.com also helps me in the character creation process.

I'm not actually posting a fic here right now (I don't know if the one I'm writing is going to be continued or put on hiatus right now, that's the only reason), but the one I am working on involves a sort of Plot Coupon deal that eventually gets subverted. If you remember those Eight SEVEN Treasures from PMD2 (the eighth one is played for laughs), they eventually turn into Plot Coupons that the Pokemon protagonists need to find and protect from some other Pokemon who need them all to do something villainous that I really should have thought up before I posted it, and they run around the PMD world trying to find them all...
Spoiler:

Also, there's the Second Chapter Spoiler in Metal Coat that I don't think has a trope name for yet (past The Reveal) but like to think of as a Magneton Gambit even though I don't think it's a gambit at all and for lack of a better name.

I write either in my room (at my desk) or somewhere else around my house with the laptop not plugged in.

So true. XDD

To anyone else, click it. It's probably not a rickroll. Probably.
