Thanks everyone for the advice. I am now doing my fanfic solo... It will be better that way. I now realize that group writing would be hard to do, so thanks you guys. I hope you will still be interested in my fanfic...
It sucks? If you'll pardon my language, Au contraire! As writers, do you proofread after or during your writing?
During. It sucks, but I can't help it.

I think the ability to proofread while writing something is a very valuable skill, especially when you're writing an English paper the morning it's due (which, since I'm on the forums right now, I might end up having to do tomorrow morning).
Same here. It's almost impossible to try and suppress that habit, but at least now I reread my chapters(that I'll get around to soon) before posting them.XDLol, that's what I am notorious for XD I edit while I write, because I don't bother rereading afterwards. XD
Doing this style though I have ended up with a couple of awkward sentences.

That's interesting. XDNow this is interesting. Do you guys find that it totally interrupts your creative flow to go back and correct a mistake, or does it not affect how fast or well you can write?
Also, I now am running Windows 7 flawlessly on my netbook. Who'da thunk?
What do you as a veteran of the FFL (as in active in Fanfiction, has a lot of posts in the FFL, is generally regarded to be a veteran by the rest of the FFL community) think is the most popular genre that keeps popping up in the Fanfiction area no matter how well or badly it's written?
Not really a veteran of the FFL, but I noticed a lot of OT fics laying in this place. The genre's extremely tired, and I think it should be laid to rest, to be honest. I'm even wary of the good OT fics because it's so overdone.
And I seen a lot of good original trainer fics that has badge/ribbion collecting.Honestly, I don't mind an OT fic as long as it not a badge hunting one. I came from FF.net in which they never reviewed OT fan fictions no matter how good it is. They are so wrapped up in shipping, that it is almost sickening. If it is good enough with a solid storyline other than just getting badges or training pokemon to just battle, I'm fine.
Anyway, to answer the question, I think it has been a lot of OT stories but Sci-fi has been making a push however. I'm truly liking the different views. I wouldn't consider myself a veteran XD.
EDIT: Let me be clear on something. What I consider an OT is a having an original character as the main character who happens to train pokemon. That doesn't mean they have to be "pokemon trainers" out to go get badges, become champion, etc. I've seen tons of good original trainer fan fiction that has nothing to do with badge collecting (same for coordinators and ribbon collecting). Just wanted to make that clear.

Sorry, but I am sick of people saying, "NO BADGE COLLECTING IN OT FICS!" What, is badge collecting that bad? I think badge collecting is part of the journey experience. Heck, I'm okay with a fic just badge collecting because those stories can bring out character development a million times better than an epic story filled with prophecies and such.
