Favourite pokemon Game of All time.

    So what was your favourite pokemon game of all time. It can be anything from Black and White to Pokemon Ranch. Just say why you liked it the most.



    My favourite was pokemon Platinum. Why? Because it it had such good graphics, had the best pokemon gyms and gym teams, had the best story line of any of the pokemon games and had the coolest bunch of legendaries that you needed to pobtain in the funnest ways. Also the trainers were always on such high levels so unlike in other games training you pokemon was easy. Also the Battle Tower was the best ever.

    I just loved the shaping and landscape of the map too. There was such a wide variety of places and pokemon. And of course the cities were just the best. little things like street lights and babies in prams made it so cool, as well as the Underground feature.
     
    My favourite has to be Crystal. Introduction of the female character, a pretty game cartridge and being centred around Johto is generally a pretty good reason. I love the remakes but there's just something about the originals...
     
    Crystal. Not a doubt in my mind.

    Everything that made the first three games was multiplied about a million times in Crystal. It has 251 Pokemon, which is more than enough, and the ability to go back to Kanto.
     
    My favorite Pokemon game would be Platinum and HG/SS. For Platinum, it was the improved storyline and Battle Frontier that caught my eye. For HG/SS, I got to play in Johto for the first time, since I never played G/S/C.
     
    well for me all time has to be crystal but then again ive never been into pokemon alot until i started playin HG.....and i cant wait to get platinum, it seems to be a good game
     
    Emerald. Hoenn is so underrated and has a great storyline to it, and the post-story material is just enough to keep me occupied without being overkill. XD
     
    My favourite was Emerald, mainly for the awesome World Map, and the FMV where Rayquaza puts Kyogre & Groudon in thier places for fighting each other XD
     
    Uhhh can I say B/W without having played them? lol.
    Cause overall, I like most of the Pokemon, screenshots I've seen so far, attacks, features-- but, because someone doesn't want me making judgements before playing them...

    Crystal. Johto was awesome and Crystal had everything Gold lacked, for me. Plus, it's the only third game besides Yellow I actually played <3 And second game ever, iirc. XD; I can't remember why else I like Crystal, but I just do!

    Least favourite would be Pearl, though. :(
     
    Platinum for the good (by Pokemon game standards) story and improved graphics. Blue/Leaf pushes FR/LG into my #2 spot and Miror B. earns XD Gale of Darkness #3.
     
    This is really hard to answer. :( But for me, it's a tie between Emerald and SoulSilver. I love generation III and Emerald brought out the best in the muddy pile that was the third generation, imo. It brought together Ruby and Sapphire and made them a million times better. And SoulSilver was a beautiful remake of my previous favorite, Silver. Don't get me wrong, Silver has a place in my heart that SoulSilver can't fill, but everything about SoulSilver was just perfect. I have honestly never had so much fun playing a Pokemon game when I played SS the first time. Not since 2003 with Sapphire, at least.
     
    Ruby. My favourite region is Hoenn, so that might have something to do with it. ;D
     
    I would have to go with Platinum and SS. Platinum's box art was really cool so that made me like it, I love Giratina, and it was my first game that I caught a Bagon, which evolved into my beautiful Salamence ^.^

    I liked SoulSilver because of the nostalgia (obviously) but also because of the legendaries. You had to catch the roaming dogs (which wasn't very easy) and catching Mewtwo was the icing on the cake. xD

    Then can I say Explorers of Time?

    That was my favorite Pokémon game EVER. I loved the plot of it, along with the gameplay and such. It did a good job of keeping me addicted, as I could play with any Pokémon there if I recruit it, and it doesn't use the original basic system, it had an enjoyable one without a random encounter rate. I would list a ton of more reasons, but that would take too long.
     
    The game that I bought and finished in 1 day and a half, the game that I still have it, as a cartridge and as a ROM, it is Pokémon Crystal! Seeing as Johto was my favorite region, till now, I generally enjoyed all games from that region, Gold, Silver, and personal favorite, Crystal. I perefered Crystal over the two because I like Suicune better than Entei and Raikou and it had some extras, so yeah, that's why.
     
    Im going with the classic Yellow Special Pickacu Edition
     
    Has to be Emerald. The Sinnoh games SUCKED, imo. The Johto ones were fun, but meh. The Kanto is getting old (lolpun), and the spinoffs are decent. Emerald pulled it all in for me. Contests, Battles, and Battle Frontier. Yes-in-deed.
     
    It is a tie between Pokémon Yellow and HeartGold. I like Yellow because it was based off of the anime and had Pikachu following you. I like HeartGold because it expanded the the walking Pokémon idea and brought the classic Second Generation into the present.
     
    Ugh. Its a tie between

    -Pokemon Red combined with Pokemon Stadium (So much memories here)

    -Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness (probably the best plot ever)

    -Pokemon HeartGold (just the sheer depth of this game, it's much bigger than the past main games)

    -Pokemon Colosseum/XD (I love how these games maintain a very mature plot about pokemon, and its very playable.)

    -Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia (Surprising, I know, but i liked the story mode and the idea of being a ranger.)

    -Pokemon Sapphire (it takes place in the best region, and introduces the best pokemon, go Gen III!)

    -Pokemon White (Even though I haven't played it yet, I'm sure it will be great.)

    -And all the others! (Even Pokemon Channel!)

    Speaking of pokemon channel, who here even likes pokemon channel? (Other than me.)
