About a hundred answers and only one mention of Hawlucha? Evolutions or not, a badass wrestling bird was easily one of my top 10 favorite Pokemon before I even knew what it looked like.

Some single stage Pokémon I like (gonna be only including Pokémon that are currently single stages and haven't gained any evolutions, so no stuff like Electabuzz):

Mimikyu, Falinks, Heracross, Dunsparce, Stunfisk, Eiscue, Komala, Mawile, Sableye, Lapras, Hawlucha, Klefki, Minior, Dhelmise, Pyukumuku, Dracovish, and Arctozolt.

Yknow, i never much liked single stage pokemon, since a lot of them aren't that good. (Girafarig, Dunsparce, Maractus, etc.)

However, two single stage pokemon i DO like are Smeargle and Skarmory. Smeargle since it can learn any move via sketch and is therefore one of the best pokemon catchers out there, and Skarmory for its competitive reputation.

Zangoose is the one i used the most, and i really like his design lol, Heracross is also one of my favorite bug types.

My top three would be Lapras, Absol, and Audino. The first one was just adorable in the anime during the Orange Island League season. The latter two I like their designs and how they're found in the games (Absol was very rare while Audino was found in the shaking spots).

This thread should be revived. My favorites are Absol, Miltank, Heracross, Dhelmise, Mimikyu, Mawile (Mega), Druddigon, and Sigilyph. These single-stage mons I think are both unique but also great to use. For Mawile I have to admit that if it didn't get buffed in gen 6 it would not be on my list.

Mine is Miltank, as my first time fighting it in Goldenrod left a super strong impression on me. (And on my poor Johto Pokémon, literally 😭)
Attack-oriented Gen 2 Shadow Ball on my own Miltank also enabled hilarious shenanigans.

Lapras, Shiny Corsola, Shiny Zangoose, and Chimecho would probably be my top picks. I've had a Chimecho papercraft hanging in my room for over a decade!

Absol lol. It's by far my favorite Pokemon for reasons including design, Pokedex lore, Ability, movepool, stats, etc. And yet it surprisingly only has one evolution stage, despite me really liking Pokemon evolution as a base game mechanic.
A couple more single evo Pokemon I love are Mimikyu & Sableye, though.
