Chit-Chat: fite me irl

I could never be vegetarian.... my enjoyment of animals doesn't extend far enough to stop me eating them. Joaquin Phoenix will never love me.

I'm mostly a chicken, fish and turkey kind of person. Mostly turkey. It's more filling than the other two, but it makes you a bit drowsy afterwards.

I like red meat. Chicken is good and so is fish, but nothing beats a good steak or prime rib. Seafood isn't an acquired taste. Then again it really depends on what seafood you're eating and where. Some types of fish are more fishy than others and then some places for some reason don't know how to cook fish even though it's one of the easiest things to make. Oysters are definitely an acquired taste. I can't eat them or I'll get sick to my stomach because the taste reminds me of bad times. But for the most part seafood is pretty normal.

I'm personally not a real fan of seafood, but I love meat, I wouldn't be able to live without. Seriously, it's aside cheese the only thing I put on my bread. After seven slices of bread even cheese might get a bit monotonous (or I should buy more types of cheese).

Could always try more types of bread too. Mix it up a little.

I've been cooking a lot on the grill lately since it's nice out again. Go to the store in the morning, buy some discounted ribs, go home and drown them in bbq sauce and then throw them on the grill after I wake up. Delicious.

I don't think I can explain how I tolerate seafood and fish...I just do. o.o But I'm also not that picky an eater, very few things will put me off (mostly a few certain vegetables and mushrooms) and I guess seafood doesn't fall under that for me. And I don't mind the flavor for the most part, so for me...om nom sea creatures.

omg y'all still talking about food
Par for the course here. ;P

The only seafood I like are tuna, salmon patties, baked cod and any kind of shrimp. But then again, any kind of seafood that is fried is good with me.

Well, when I asked that question, I was inquiring more about flavor and overall texture of seafood. Was it something that was substantially different compared to anything else you've tried? Maybe I'm just wording my questions strangely but idk...in my mind, I imagined a lot of seafood to taste.....more or less salty and squishy and stuff and kinda weird. Though I suppose that's more the case for raw seafood?
Can't really give initial impressions since I was way young when I was first introduced to some of it (shrimp and lobster in this case), and I don't remember. "Squishy" isn't the word I would use for it, not sure how I would describe it though. Flavor-wise, it really depends on what you're talking about, most of the stuff I have isn't salty unless made that way, but it can run from a rather mild flavor to a stronger flavor. Like, shrimp and lobster are milder, crab is...well, I can tell when crab is around lol.

Same thing with fish. Outside of tuna (from cans, although I've been tempted to grab tuna steaks at times to try those), the fish I tend to eat most here is tilapia and that's definitely a nice, mild fish, with a hint of a sweeter flavor. No overpowering fishy taste like some species. Goes well with so many things.

i... want to know how much you paid
A lot! About $130. Generally have to expect those prices when it comes to custom stuff and the shoe brand. I just have to keep in mind that I'm paying for what I receive in the end.
