Ahaha yes, most definitely. You'll end up spending more than...what, $1000 or more if you plan to go with your whole family? If you live in Southern Cali, you'll get a discounted price on tickets (lucky). Back in my day, Disneyland wasn't even a "resort", but it has changed drastically over the years.

The last time I went there was Valentines Day 2009, I went with a family size of 9, and I dragged my (now) ex boyfriend along to make it 10. Do the math. :P

Knotts Berry Farm is freaking AMAZING, it's my favorite theme park and I literally grew up going there. I love the rides, and best of all, I love the atmosphere of the park. If I go back to Cali one day, I would plan a vacation there for a weekend. It's grown so much and there's a lot more now than before.
 
Amusement parks? The only one I've ever been to was Busch Gardens Tampa, and that was a $15 fee for Physics Day. We didn't have to do any assignments because my physics teacher in high school was extremely lenient and he wanted us to have fun after working so hard in the school year. xD

Also the trick for Disnizzle is to go on a like a Tuesday in winter. It's a nightmare on weekends but the weekdays on the off-season are way more reasonable.

Last (well, only) time I've been to Six Flags, I...eventually ended up just riding the carousel there over and over lol. In its defense it was a very relaxing ride, especially after walking around all day! Also something about some little car train ride track thing near that carousel after it was dark. I just vaguely remember bumping into the car ahead of us (it was people we were with, not total strangers thankfully).

Also oh god. You say winter and my first reaction is "hell no". But then I remember winters out there are not winters out here, haha.
 
Just found out my boyfriend is being deployed for a month some time next year.

Bummed. I can barely even tolerate the 2 weeks while he's away for training.
 
I get tired of Six Flag-like roller coasters easily. They're just eventually all the same. I'll go on all of them, and I'll enjoy it, but I will eventually just rather do something else. Even on rides like Kingda Ka.
 
For those of you who are from California, we're getting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood next year. I haven't been to Universal since 2008, and I wish to visit there again once constructions are finished.
 
I have an annual pass to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and I go several times a year. It's great to get off work and just randomly decide "I think I want to go to Busch Gardens for a couple hours" and be able to drive 20 minutes up the road and do it, haha. I also live close-ish to Kings Dominion and I go there once or twice a summer - hoping to go in the next few weeks, maybe - but it's far enough away that I don't have a season pass.

I've only been riding coasters for about two years now though, and I'm still working my way up to the bigger ones. I finally tried Alpengeist this past week as well as the new one, Tempesto, and I think that next time I might work up the courage to try Apollo's Chariot.

I have been counting down for 2016! I've been to Universal a couple of times in the past year and it was okay. Grinchmas was cute. :) My uncle and aunt told me to get the season pass for 2015 but I opted out until 2016. ;3

That is on my bucket list. I seriously need to go check that out as soon as I can.
 
I want to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter so badly.
And Disneyland.


....I actually just want to go on a real vacation =3=; It's been well over a year . . . Ah, well. Here's hoping for next year. u_u
 
does anyone else ride rollercoasters over and over?

i swear i do that every single time i go to an amusement park.
 
I haven't been to an amusement park in probably five years, but I remember the last time I went to Six Flags over TX, I rode the Batman ride a lot because it was amazing n_n

You really owe it to yourself to make the trip to WWHP at Universal Orlando. Both Hogsmeade and in Diagon Alley! I've only visited the latter a handful of times, but it's memorable enough to be worth the visit each and every single time...it's such a totally different world from Hogsmeade, too!!

If you can manage to convince me to ride a roller coaster (quite a feat in itself), then I'm probably riding it once and then I'm done. :'D I'm a wuss. Although I did kind of like the Jack Rabbit at Kennywood even despite the fact that it has the freaking double dip in it which I would think would make me not want to ride it even more.

But otherwise nope
 
Well, if anyone in the California area ever wants to visit Knott's Berry Farm, I occasionally get free tickets for friends and family to get in, so you can ask me if I have any available when you'd like to go. :)

Mostly get 2 every couple of months but Halloween time I get about 8 when the spook events are over.
 
I try to avoid riding on roller coasters with loops and inversions, especially if the trains lack shoulder bars. You cannot believe how disappointed and terrified I was when Magic Mountain rebuilt the old Colossus coaster to include inversions.
