Food Fight #1 - McDonalds vs Burger King

When it comes to McDonalds vs Burger King, I have to go with McDonalds. For one thing, I don't like the fries at Burger King, but I like the fries at McDonalds. Plus I have also eaten at McDonalds more times than I have eaten at Burger King.
 
BOOI McDonalds takes it for me. Gotta have me a good shamrock shake. their mcflurries are amazing too. havent had BK in a while tho =/

I don't go to either often. I prefer BKs burgers and fries but I love McDonalds Breakfast menu and that I actually will eat. Plus the King is terrifying in those ads.

I think my vote for McDonalds will be for their breakfast menu too. I pretty much either choose their Deluxe breakfast or McMuffin sausage, lol.

McDonalds! ^^ Despite the existence of the SuperSize Me movie and all the flak that McDonald's gets in regards to consumers "eating healthy", their fries are (usually) amazing, and their hamburgers and McChicken sandwiches are just terrific..! I haven't eaten Burger King in quite a while, although the last time I had the fries there, they just didn't taste like the superior McDonald's fries (which have essentially tasted great for me for the longest time).. McDonald's also has an iconic Happy Meal design (except the containers with the creepy eye imagery) as well as iconic mascots (although Ronald McDonald and friends seems to be somewhat diminishing in prominence, moreso the guys like Hamburglar and such), although the "Burger King's literal Burger King" campaign was freaky yet hilarious. {XD} I think McDonald's has funnier/more memorable commercials, though, and their iconography, coloration, and uniform scheme is very distinct, in my opinion (plus the "Mickey D's" nickname and the classic golden arches!). Oh, and the good McDonald's food aromas! {<3} Although, I'm glad that both restaurant chains (McDonald's and Burger King) have fielded Pokemon-related toys at least once! Although Burger King still disappointed me with those "Game Boy" toys that I thought was a real functional Game Boy. ;-; Ooh, and I remember this Sonic the Hedgehog-related mini handheld that was nice..

...Although, I'm really hoping that McDonald's institutes "all-day fries and hamburgers" at some point.. How are we gonna have "all-day breakfast" when the restaurant essentially got its start from (and is known for) fries and hamburgers? -_-

.And I've really wanted to try those Burger King chicken fries for a while, now.. :< Oh, and that team-up of Burger King with Cinnabon was just stunning; if McDonald's partnered with Cinnabon, my great food dreams could come true.. <3

{XD} Those self-ordering kiosks are interesting! I like actually talking to cashiers for the order, though; it just wouldn't feel the same otherwise.. XD
 
I rarely go to any of the two anymore
(years for both)
I always liked BK better - the fries, the onion rings, the cheeseburgers, and even their breakfast items

I used to live for those McMuffins. The texture of everything in them tastes artificial and delicious to me at the same time.

I go occasionally for those rare times when I am tired of McDonald's fries. Last order of fries I got from them made me want to give up french fries from there forever though, they were so badly done.

Their Satisfries were great though. Shame they didn't sell well enough to keep around.
 
Whenever I have a sweet tooth (or inexpensive coffee craving), I go to McDonald's. Also, the McGriddles are amazing there.
 
Burger King is just so horrible here and in the countries I have traveled to that I am just surprised that people still eat there. Wow.

It's good to know Burger King sucks all around the world. The only thing I really liked were the chicken fries and I had them like twice. Oh and when I was a kid I used to love their chicken tenders, but I don't think they make them anymore.

Apart from food quality horror stories, their food is more expensive yet smaller in portion than McDonalds. Yet another point deducted.

I don't know what it is about them, but their great. Maybe it's the funny commercial that makes people like them more and the box design. I just wish more came in the box, they can fit way more than they do.

Maybe I just got a bad batch of it. That's my one issue with Burger King. I think their burgers are superior but their fries are overall very hit and miss with me because they are sometimes cold and flimsy.

That's why I love McDonald's so much, I don't think I've ever had a bad batch of fries from them. And whenever they are flimsy it's because I took too long to eat them which is why they are always the first thing I eat now. For some reason all the other fast food places never have consistent fry quality and I hate that. I especially hate KFC potato wedges when they have been sitting out for a while. They are soggy and have no crisp to them at all, yet when you get them fresh made they are wonderful. Sucks that most of the time when I do get the potato wedges they are crap.
 
I have a soft spot in my heart for Burger King.

Fun fact: It's where my parents met.

When I used to go to McDonalds, I would always get fries that were clearly reheated. Some were super hard. Some were cold. It was terrible.
 
McDonalds for life <3 (although life won't be long if I keep eating it >~> )

Burger King does have good chicken related food though. Chicken fries and tenders are amazing from them. But McDonalds has fries, McChickens, cheeseburgers, and whatever else I can't think of right now that I love from there.
