So did I, even more than Twilight. However, I freakin' LOVED DJ's appearance at the end, that was pure Awesomeness!

Also, I liked "A Perfect Day for Fun" and "Music to my Ears" as well :)

Finally saw Rainbow Rocks ^^ It was indeed pretty okay I thought. If I ranked it in comparison with the season premiere / finales, it was probably in the lower middle amongst them. Sunset Shimmer showed some real development and was a reeeally engaging character in it.

I was going to try and watch through the entire 4th season again before the 5th premiered, but I don't think I'm going to get time to do that now. Still, I'm excited to see what this season holds, as I've tried to stay away from all spoilers/discussion about it, so hopefully there are some surprises!

I actually rewatched most of season 4 over spring break (I went to Detroit, so no - there was no nice beach I should've been on instead) and I have to say, I remembered a lot of negativity about some episodes in season 4, that upon going back and re-watching, seeeems pretty unwarranted.

No, Trenderhoof is still a terrible character imo, and Rarity was out of character in Simple Ways, but the episode over all wasn't BAD. Just not up to par with the rest of the series. ( I remember a huuuuge amount of whining over that ep.) And the Breezies episode, while seemingly marketable - didn't end up being too marketing driven, and in hindsight - was actually a pretty good one I think. I liked the message about sometimes needing tough love.

w00t, Season 5 Premiere!

We now learn the whole of the map in Twilight's castle; it's to detect problems that can easily be solved through the magic of friendship, but I feel it's going to be used for major episodes, so we can still have those wacky episodes within Ponyville. The reason for this is because Starlight, the first villain who isn't god-like disregarding Sunset Shimmer, got away after her plans were thwarted by the Mane Six and her own subordinates after turning them into equalized slaves. Her scheme was definitely a satire of communism. I have a theory that she's going to be the primary antagonist throughout the whole season, forming some kind of anti-Mane Six made up of other antagonistic ponies each of the Mane Six will encounter, and the finale will be a clash between the two groups. Overall, this season truly started with a bang, and if it's progressing how I predicted, then I definitely called it.

So I have a very interesting and somewhat discussion starting video to share today.



Now coming from someone who has Aspergers (a highly functioning form of autism), this made a lot of strange sense to me when watching this and show me who similar I am to Rainbow Dash in personality and behavior. Some argue that this was done on purposely for the show, but if it was, it makes people like myself whom have mental conditions feel more comfortable watching and enjoying the show as is. Just watch and see what your take is on this video.

That. Was. AWESOME! Oh my goodness, the first two episodes of Season 5 is wonderful!

I like how weird 'equal ponies' were. And those smiles... They were creepy as fudge. o.o
And I also liked how 'background ponies' were the ones who helped the Mane 6 regain their Cutie Marks back. That was...weird, but in a good way. ^^

I knew Starlight had her Cutie Mark the entire time, because I saw pretty much the same plot in another cartoon and she looked a little too confident in herself to have assimilated with her mass. Also, I hope that those four new ponies will show up again.

I don't think they should, because if it's, say, ten seasons in with them having seen not hide nor tail of their Cutie Marks (had to make a horse joke here; it's a pony club) then logically, they would start thinking "Why are we still looking when we're not any closer to getting our Cutie Marks?" I don't know about the flow of time in My Little Pony, but it seems like a pretty long while for them to have been trying; the normal man would have long given up.

I just looked over the follow-up since this episode was completed ruined for me, due to someone spoiling the ending before I even got to watch it. And in all honestly, I wasn't really impressed with this opener. In all honestly, and this just my opinion, this opener feels to be the weakest to have been shown so far. Seasons 1-4 just seem to stand out better in my opinion. :(
