Am I the only one who thinks Slice of Life is pure fanservice for people who wanted to see some of our favorites talk, lmao...

Because wow, the preveiws.

Slice of Life is their 100th Episode for this generation of My Little Pony, I think they deserve it and all the work they are putting into it so we have to wait two weeks between episodes better be worth the air time.

22 Short Films About Ponyville

That was what the 100th episode reminded me of, and wow, did they make sure every fan-favorite secondary character have at least one appearance for this. Derpy, Docter Whoof, Lyra, Bon Bon Secret Agent Sweetie Drops, Octavia, DJ PON3, and even Steven Magnet from the second episode have their fair share on the spotlight. You want to know something that's worse than Bear Shark? A bug bear, and it's hilarious that none of the background ponies are even reacting to its presence, because the wedding is more important. And Gummy, sweet Celestia Gummy, went full philosopher at the end of Octavia and DJ's MLG trip to the wedding. This is definitely going to be on my top 10 favorites list.

also DOCTOR WHOOVES BECOMING CANON. AND DERPY. CAN WE TALK ABOUT DERPY.

This episode was worth the wait. I cannot believe they packed in soo much epicness in this. I was not expecting Doctor Whooves to be cannon, or Derpy to have a ton of screentime, or Lyra/Bon Bon to have an actual friendship. This episode was actually created for us bronies. It's amazing. You can actually tell that the writers were thinking about the fandom. And thus, we applaud.

OMIGOSH, THAT WAS AWESOME. Derpys antics, Dr Whoovies and his actual Doctor quotes and scarf, Bon Bons secret, Celestria and Lunas argument and Steaven Magnet oh and totaly loved the insight into Gummys thoughts. now this is what I call fan service

So, M.A. Larson actually created the episode just for us bronies. I found this speech pretty inspiring. from his twitter account:

It's the 100th episode so maybe you'll forgive me the speechifying nature of this.

None of this exists without two elements first and foremost: @Fyre_flye and you guys.

But the characters in today's episode came from countless animators and storyboard artists and character designers and others in Canada...

..as well as a slew of writers from across five seasons & Rob Renzetti who story edited seasons 1 & 2 and @MMeghanMcCarthy who has since...

...and the sensational voice talent Lauren put together and those who have joined since...

...but this episode would quite literally not exist if not for the fans. These "characters" were nothing more than designs...

Quite literally background ponies...

So it is fitting, and huge credit to Hasbro & the Hub for going for it (even when I was trying to convince them not to), that episode 100...

...is filled with characters YOU created.

Spike is best princess...

.... until he started to abuse his powers to get what he wants (he IS a dragon, greed's in his blood), though not to the point where it went full "Secret to My Excess." Poor Spike can't catch a break in this episode before and after his power abuse. I wasn't expecting this episode to be in the same quality as last week's, but I do have my concerns when I heard that shows that reach their milestone episode starts to lose its quality. That ending tho.

Nice to see another Canterlot episode, and I do like the odd Spike episode from time to time. I thought the Swedish Tree surgeon was amusing. Lord fancy pants was welcome re appearance as well, admittedly they should have put this episode after a mane six one rather than the 100th, as the full mane six all together haven't had much screen time for a few episodes.

Also, I stayed up sooo late last night waiting for this to get done. Fiesta Equestria is this coming weekend, and one of my brony friends from the Houston Brony Group offered to make me a customized badge for the con! Gave him a picture of my OC, Snapdragon, and OMG HE ACTUALLY DID IT PERFECTLY.

This was certainly better than last week's episode, but that isn't because Pinkie Pie's my favorite of the Mane Six. This whole episode could be seen as symbolic towards the fandom, where the yaks are the bronies and the Mane Six were the writers and producers. And sheesh, Twilight Sparkle almost started a war when Pinkie Pie was away on her wacky trip to the yaks' home country. Oh, and Twilight better have learn a burn healing spell after Rainbow Dash called Pinkie a better planner than her.

Day 2 here at Fiesta Equestria. Anyone subscribed to Saberspark, AC Racebest, and ILoveKimPossibleAlot? They are all here at the con and last night they did a HILARIOUS Whose Line Is it Anyway panel a la 18+. xD I'm hoping they could upload the whole skit on youtube, so I can show. Of course, I will spoil it in case. :P

I have a feeling there's going to be SO MANY gifs of Pinkie Pie right after this episode. There's so many funny faces in this episode. I honestly thought Pinkie Pie was going to get crazier again, but then, in a way, Pinkie is just Pinkie. xD
