The Tale of Two Twilights

And I'm taking that literally, because Moondancer is a literal palette swap of Twilight Sparkle, but that's intentional, because she's suppose to be what Twilight would've become if she hadn't come to Ponyville. And yet another fan favorite background pony, Minuette, gets an important role for this episode. So many callbacks to the very first episode; it was truly heartwarming and better than I've expected.

Quite a cute episode, plenty of appearances of Background ponies and new ponies. Minuette was great, glad she has got a speaking part at last.

Wow... So after being off of Pokecommunity for years, this thread gives me nostalgia. I remember I used to have an account here that I made in 2008, but it got banned due to me being reckless in the first version of this MLP thread about 3 years ago.

Today's episode was amazing, and everyone I've talked to felt the same way. Colgate has an official voice, Twilight recolor made an appearance, and so many callbacks to the pilot of the show. Definitely in the top 5 for the season for me, but absolutely nothing will top Cutie Map for the season.

Nightmare in Dreamland

The third half of the episode was hilarious. I completely lost it when they made Princess Big Mac canon. But boy, was Luna's lamentation deep. She created that nightmare cloud to punish herself for her past sins, which is something I can relate to, and it gets stronger the more guilt she feels. It's great that we're given a highly entertaining episode before we have yet another hiatus for the next few months.

The rumors are true, but only in his dreams. Plus there's no new episode tomorrow due to the show going on hiatus again mid-season.

I'm two episodes behind (couldn't watch it because other TV shows + sleeping in), but this will give me an opportunity to actually catch up.

One of my friends is so lucky that he'll be attending BronyCon this year. I've been meaning to go, but haven't gotten the chance to actually plan out the trip. Hopefully when I'm stablized financially next year I'll totally plan out the trip over there.

Yes, I think it looks like it will be fun.

Chances are we won't see any "Pony" characters other than Sunset, wITH the Twilight in this one being the real Twilight of that world rather than Pony Twilight. Also IT looks as if Sunset may play more of a part than she did in RR, Wouldn't surprise me with her being a fan favourite and everything

My guess is...since the human Twilight is...somehow...messing with magic to help his team win(my opinion), she messes up big time and (for a short amount of movie screen time) gets sent to Equestria, and she turns into a unicorn. Hijinx ensues.

There is actually another Equestria Girls coming out this fall. It was revealed at SDCC this year. It's called Friendship Games and yes, the Human Twilight you saw is not the same Twilight from the previous two movies. We're still under the question on how the writers will play out this new Human Twilight and not use the typical Pony Twilight from the previous two.

I have a feeling that human Twilight is going to be the main antagonist, since it seems Sunset Shimmer is acting as the main protagonist now. I'm excited.
