RD and Fluttershy's story reminds of that one episode of Ed, Edd, & Eddy where the Eds promised several trades in order to get a chicken egg to make their omelets. Both trades ended in a disaster, although we do get a heartwarming conclusion on the pegasus' side. Rarity and AJ get into yet another fight against each other, only this time assisting who should get the antique they value the most. Both didn't end up getting what they want, but they are thankful they still have each other. Pinkie Pie is best salesman, enough said. I'm still concerned about Twilight's library running out of space now that she decided not to trade her old books.

How Rarity handles her criticism in the beginning was hilarious. All that ice cream she eat to keep herself in check, I'm surprised that she hasn't gotten fat (unless it was low fat ice cream). The rest of this episode gave me this Evil Dead vibe, and bit of TF2, because of that spellbook Spike found from the old castle, minus the whole demon spawns. That book has really gotten Rarity mad with creativity. I understand Spike's reluctance to tell her the truth that what she's doing is wrong, because I usually get into a similar position myself whenever one of my online friends does something that could hurt them in the long-run, in terms of being honest, or when I try to get a crush's good side, in terms of being supportive. Seeing DJ-PON3 and Octavia in the same episode is definitely going to leave the fans raves of happiness.

I think I love Rarity a whole lot more now. Her expressions were priceless and it's fantastic to get more Owlowiscious (...how do you spell that, omg) screentime. Spike too, of course, but the owl! I'd almost forgotten he existed.

Lots of laughter was had towards the end of the episode where Twilight comes in all messed up and angry from having to clean things up. Hehe, poor girl.

And oh! om nom ice cream = best part.

I got caught up with the two episodes on Saturday. Weeeeeeee. I actually liked both episodes, they were both laugh-out-loud funny.

In "Trade Ya" the Mane 6 visit Rainbow Falls for a trade exchange. This episode puts a test to Rainbow Dash's loyalty element as she wanted the first copy of Daring Do & The Sapphire Stone book, having to trade SO MANY THINGS in order to get what she wanted, but that would also cost Fluttershy. I also didn't understand why Twilight had to trade away all of the books she never needed when she realized all the books she "didn't want" reminded her of her friends. That also puts a test in loyalty as well.

I'm just glad Pinkie Pie took the role of a sales person...she is p. good. xD

In Inspiration Manifestation, I could relate to this all too well, especially since at the beginning of the semester this year I felt that my efforts in English class weren't as recognized as I wanted to be, especially since I worked hard on my things. However, as Janna mentioned, I am so glad Owlsowlicious got much more screentime, I was waiting for that to happen sometime. It became a lesson for Spike to LISTEN TO THE DAMN OWL because they do talk. xD

also, I'm surprised there wasn't much talk about this other than the past few spoilers...but anyone watched the trailer to Rainbow Rocks? Apparently it's going to debut in the fall of this year.

And it turns out to be a Spike-centric episode; wow, two Spike episodes in a row. Looks like our favorite dragon sidekick is getting some more love, especially how this episode portrays him as a hero to the Crystal Empire for saving it from King Sombra, only to screw up his reputation via stage fright and perhaps the most cringeworthy national anthem you'll ever hear. He later redeems himself by saving the day again, though he still thinks it's no big deal. I can easily relate to his situation already, because I've been there before. It's too bad we never get to see the rest of the Equestrian Games, which is why this episode is getting mixed receptions from fans at EQD, but hey, at least Derpy got some screentime.

Season 5 was already confirmed at the beginning of the season, I believe. Unless the one I reported it was a rumor at first and the writers FINALLY added more confirmation to it? All in all, I am purely excited for this! Will it have a November debut date like this current season? I hope so! It'd be a wonderful birthday present.
