Frontier Brains

I always feel like these guys are rarely talked about. Here's a refresher of them for those who don't remember them all.

What are your overall thoughts on the frontier brains? Who really stood out to you and who was a challenge?

I still think Lucy is one of the coolest Pokemon characters we've had. She's literally the embodiment of sleek and cool. I thought it was a really nice touch how her pokemon choices often mirrored her own look, aka sleek. I want to add I've always felt like the hoenn frontier brains were superior to the johto/sinnoh ones. I thought their facilities were really unique and just as characters themselves they stood out more imo.

I've never actually made it to the Frontier Brains. But, I have always thought Noland looked the coolest, with that coat and hat of his.
Tucker on the other hand... no. I don't really get his design.

I will agree with you, though. The Hoenn Brains as a whole do seem cool and unique compared to the others. They're pretty memorable.

Yeah I like Noland the best too, because of his design. I dont really care that much for Frontier Brain they seemed like stronger versions of other NPC Trainers, but they were fun to battle

I also liked Lucy the best. She was the only one I ever got to battle haha. I liked her design and have always loved Seviper, so obviously she's pretty cool in my book. Wish she made an appearance in ORAS :/

I never challenged any of them given how badly I suck at battle facilities, but in terms of designs I really love Thorton because he looks like someone very intelligent.

I love Lucy and Annabel's crush on Brock and Ash (from the anime series), respectively. ^_^

I'm with Dahlia, Darach and Caitlin! They are my favorite Frontier Brains from Generation IV games.

Never actually tried out frontier Brain, I'm never tried to challenge them cause i'm too tired at that moment, but Lucy is one of my favorite and coolest member.Her design is so beautiful and awesome too.

 

[Retro Bug]

Why is no one talking about Tucker and that lovely outfit? It was Brandon who was a beast. He was hard to win against and I'm not sure I ever did.

I did a lot better at the Sinnoh Battle Frontier tho. Pretty sure I beat both Dahlia and Darach. I should really go back and try those again, I really liked the Battle Frontier.

 

[Hiatus]

Lucy is the only Frontier Brain member that I've gotten the chance to defeat (she's my favorite also), if memory serves right. Although she was challenging, she wasn't precisely overly-difficult. It took me a couple of tries, but at least by me, she was beatable.

In Emerald, I managed to defeat Tucker, Lucy, and Brandon. In Johto, I defeated Dahlia, Palmer, and almost beat Darach once. I've gotten to Argenta about 5 times, and somehow manage to lose every single time :c

All in all though, I think the Frontier Brains are really awesome and totally underrated. Honestly, I think the reason they're not talked about is because they're so difficult to get to, not that many people have actually even gotten to battle them. Argenta is my favorite.

I just love that too-cool-for-school air she has about her ^^;
