Future News dates

The next trailer having something to do with the Volcanion and the Ingenious Magearna movie could be possible. I'm sure I remember the Japanese premiere of the movie happens somewhere around your birthday along with the fact the next CoroCoro will be released around then as well.
This year the movie is the day after, so the 16th, which happens to be the next news date. Corocoro will officially leak on it (the 15th) as I don't think Japan has a holiday like they did last year.

Still, you'll be having one heck of a birthday when you have all that stuff coming out.

Correction: July 16 for the next piece of news to be announced. Gonna be a big month for Sun & Moon news if that new trailer was a taste of what's to come.

So it has been confirmed to be a news date? I don't see it being much though. We will have Japan Expo, Pokenchi, Corocoro, and possibly a new gameplay trailer with the movie.

The June 16th news might be the American trailer for what they show at the movie. I am really really hoping that it is more screenshots and possibly evil team.

We might also get some anime news around this time as well.

If we get more pokemon, I really really REALLY hope it is an Ice Type pokemon.

Japan Expo, Pokenchi, and Corocoro could easily be repeats of what we got today (officially).

Japan Expo and Pokenchi, probably. However Corocoro said that Rockruff would be the main focus in corocoro from here on out according to Pokejungle's translation, so I am thinking it is new.

From Pokejungle:
"There is a secret hidden in that little body. In fact, there are also surprising secrets about the starter Pokémon too…!?"
Iwanko will play a big role in CoroCoro going forward.

I am still kinda expecting us to get at least 1 other pokemon from Japan Expo, even though we just got 7, but I wouldn't mind if we didn't.

Yeah, at this point I rather Japan Expo show off Megas, as we've already got a lot of new Pokemon for the first half of the month.

so rockruff really is gonna play a big role? maybe it will be a one-of-a-kind like rotom?

I think considering Rockruff evolves, it won't be anything like that.

I think their secret will be to do with the Burst mechanic they're gonna bring in. (Trainers combining with their Pokemon) and maybe it's only the three starters & Rockruff who can do it. Since Rockruff's explanation makes it sound like it has a massive bond with its trainer once it evolves.

But I don't know, hopefully that theory is shot down because I hate the idea of it lmao. But I am curious as to what the secret it.

Anyway, I think Pokénchi will just be "official" confirmation of the newest batch of Pokémon but it does come with a gameplay video so maybe we'll end up getting something new as well?

The way they're just introducing more and more Pokémon, though makes me think we're getting more this time around.

Just because it evolves doesn't mean it can't be one of a kind. In BW2 Zoara could only be gotten in 1 place (maybe 2) but it evolves. In Hg/ss sudowoodo can only be caught in one place, and it's an evolution of a pokemon. Evolution has nothing to do with it.

Technically Sudowoodo doesn't count because it was already a stand alone Pokemon when it was first implemented.

As for Zorua, that whole thing gave me a headache too so if this is a situation like that, miss me with it.

Yeah, that was it I believe. Kinda disappointing but at least it was fun seeing Rockruff and Komala in action.

I wasn't expecting to much. Japan Expo is next. Anything new should be known in a few days. It is kinda weird seeing an Arcanine in the wild though. I think it was a wild battle. Didn't see a trainer. But if they are in the games, I will definitely use, even though it isn't a new pokemon. I love Growlithe and Arcanine.

Seems like Pokenchi will air the latest Sun & Moon footage next week when it broadcasts on 17th July. Hoping it contains the next batch of new information that will shed some light on Gym Leaders, or lack thereof. ;;

Spoiler:
Possible fake, but it stated the news would come out a week from now on July 16. I suppose all we can really do is wait and see. I personally really wanna see those gym leaders the most though, Blue brings a good point. ;>;

*sees Mega Diancie's post*

That certainly matches up with some of what's been mentioned in the leak, but still it's odd to get the starters' final evos revealed before we're even supposed to get the middle evos.

I was sceptical at first but I'll admit that the image does seem to be gaining credibility. It seems like it could be a possibility that those are the final starter evolutions but it feels too early for GF to reveal them officially?

I remember when I first saw those starter evo leaks and it was the red "Confidential" label that made me start believing they could be legit, since the same label appeared on a concept art piece of Noivern. Ash appearing in a small piece of the Litten evo artwork is also making it interesting.

Honestly I have little faith in this show. I can't remember the last time they gave us a groundbreaking reveal or something that wasn't revealed in Corocoro/a trailer beforehand. Not too excited but we'll see, I hope it's something interesting and new. :)

I agree, Pokenchi have been a letdown so far with the Sun & Moon stuff since all they did was recapping on previously-shown trailers. They could surprise us this time but I still doubt it.
