I watched 50 episodes of Sinnoh, which is the most I've ever seen of any anime. I loved Paul.

Paul is still the best rival in the anime imo. Would be great to see him make a return in the current series.

Paul was very memorable and I didn't even watch most of the DP anime. Would be cool to have him back, though he'd probably be watered down a little since I don't think a character with that personality fits as well anymore?

He would definitely still be one of Ash's fiercest rivals out of all the series, and is likely to have won a league in a different region since the end of the DP Series

Would rather have him come back than any other old rival

You need to at least watch Johto... it's 8,657 episodes of them not quite making it to Ecruteak City before the end of the show.

Despite all the filler I still loved it btw!

Not sure I'll be able to enjoy it. I watched very few animes this year, the most recent one was the fourth season of AoT and the only one I'm really looking for is JoJo part 6.

And at some point several second seasons came out for anime's I watched at one point, and I am now waiting for those seasons to finish so I can binge the whole thing.

never tried Sushi, as I tend to not be a fan of raw meat/fish.
But I think I had wasabi on something else once or twice.
It's the really spicy green stuff/sauce iirc?
