Question: Get-Together 2010?

I was wondering if you PC staff were going to do another get-together like last year.
I enjoyed it and I'm sure many others did too so will there be one.
Or is it like every x years?

The Get-Together is run at different points; we just have to decide when. It was given a year number last year because then it would be easier to refer to it, and we forgot the amount of get-togethers we've held.

We haven't had one yet because well… I forgot about it. (And I'm kinda like the guy who runs it.) :P

It's usually held around a holiday of some sort, no? Halloween seems to be rather popular.

Maybe we should try to hold them around the same time every year. :s It'd make the decision of when to have it easier, at least.

I think it's better to keep it instantaneous. Makes it much more exciting.

I think it should be planned to 1 or more specific dates, so its easier for people to plan to go, ect.

The PokéCommunity Get-Together is a mostly member-managed event - it's where we try to make sure we can bring as many PC members as we can to the community (by mass email). For the last time and a few times before that where we've had a Get-Together, it's been about events. The main event - we have one giant chat to talk our heads off (and this all the Get-Together was about for the first three times we've had it).

All events are currently taking place in a special, dedicated event forum! Go there now and join the events!

I remember the last one, but I also remember not participating too much. That was mostly because I very pre-occupied with real life stuff(school and/or work, can't recall which, XD).

I'll go ahead and suggest that they shouldn't be at the same time every year, mostly because different people have different times when they can be around. For instance, I have a friend in Europe who ends up starting her school break when I finish mine, and vise versa. Though perhaps there could be two a year: one in the winter and one in the summer.

Just my three cents; feel free to ignore. :P
