well, they messed up that death battle anyway due to the fact that they where using the knuckles in sonic boom as reference material. the sonic boom knuckles is actually dumber then the other incarnations & knuckles has been known to do more then use his fists when need be.
they didn't even put in his ability's to summon lightning, bring meteors down from above & harnessing earth energy's to protect & heal himself
